To Y/n's parents, she was a princess. True she had no crown or castle, but she was still the ruler of her own little kingdom. She lived in a house that had the look of a mansion. She befriended all animals that lived nearby and had the purest heart of all.

"Y/n! I'm back!" You hurried outside jumping into your father's arms, giving him a big hug. "I missed you so much, father!" "I missed you too Y/n." He broke the hug, kneeling down to meet your height. "I brought you back a crown, the one you've been wanting since you turned 11.." He pulled out a small, simple, yet beautiful tiara. You let out a small gasp and he places it on your head.
"Thank you father, I didn't need it though. You could have bought something nice for yourself." You said feeling a little guilty that you're the reason why he is spending his money. "Yes, but buying you things that make you happy, also makes me happy." You smiled and he got up patting the dust off his knees. He makes his way inside the house and you follow behind with your fingers interlocked with his.
"How has your mother been doing?" "I think she's doing better, I mean, she seems happier!" He smiles, not turning his gaze anywhere else but towards his bedroom door. As you walk across the hallway, you ask him a question hoping you would get the answer you want. "Do you think she'll be okay?" His smile faded away and got replaced with a small frown. He looked at you and smiled with his eyes closed. "Don't worry sweetheart, she'll be fine." He looked back to the door trying to keep his smile from turning upside down. You knew he was lying, but you decided to believe him. Your father opens the bedroom door and you both see your mother resting on the bed.
"Give me a minute with your mother Y/n." You nod and leave the room, closing the doors. Your father sits on the chair that's next to your mother's bed. Your mother opens her eyes to see your father. "I won't stay for long you know, the doctors said I might not make it." They teared up and hugged each other as rain fades in the background. You start crying as well, leaning against the other side of the door.
(Couple Years Later)
"Y/n, I'm back!" "Welcome home father!" You hugged your father and walked him into the house. You both headed towards the living room and sat down. "Do you remember that woman I told you I've been seeing?" "The woman that has two daughters? Yes, I remember." "Well, they're coming to live with us, and they're on their way right now actually. I want you to be on your best behavior Y/n." "But, father, why are they going to be moving all of a sudden?" "Their place is a little too cramped for them and they can't afford to pay as much money for their bills." "Oh, okay. I understand." "Thank you Y/n." He kissed your forehead and waited outside for them to arrive.
You left the living room and waited outside with him. You hear horses in the distance, their steps become louder and louder. You see a dark carriage arrive shortly. The door opens and you see a beautiful woman that looks too young for her age holding a cat that looks like a pomeranian. She had black hair and a black dress. Following her were two other girls that look like polar opposites. One of them had dark purple hair and gave off a negative feeling, the other had light pink hair with pink skin.
"Momo, darling. I'm glad you're here. This is my daughter Y/n, Y/n this is Momo Yaoyorozu." "Hello, darling." She said emotionless as she stroked the feline's soft hair. "Hello, it's nice to meet you." You said while bowing slightly. You decided to greet the other girls while your father and Momo talked. "Hello, I'm Y/n, it's nice to meet you! I hope we'll be the best of sisters in the future." You said with a smile. "The same goes to you." The pink girl said with a smile. "I'm Mina and this is Jiro." "It's nice to meet you both."
(Couple Days Later)
"I'd like some dresses!" "I'd like some rings." The girls said. "What about you Y/n? What would you like me to bring you?" "I don't want you to waste your money on me, father. Just bring my sisters what they asked for." "Are you sure?" "Positive." "Really?" "Absolutely." "Okay, then." He said, kissing your forehead. You both lean in for a short hug, he gets on the carriage and waves goodbye. You wave goodbye blowing him a kiss as he disappears around the corner. You head back inside, going to your room. You sit down on your bed and pull out an old picture of you and your mother that was inside your bedside table. You think about all the nice memories you two had together before she became ill and died. You put it away and try to get some sleep.
