The next day came by quickly, and Yuki spent her time thinking of what to do.
For she had decided to focus on her main mission, in other words she can't attend Karasuno anymore.

pulling out her phone, she decided to text everyone from the karasuno vbc.

Yuki:

Hey! it's been awhile.. let's meet up at the Hill near my estate at 4pm, I have something important to tell everyone.

"And sent.."

a few minutes passed by and she got multiple replies like:

'Ehhh Yuki-chan?!?? YOU'RE ALIVEEE and sure'
Noya, Tanaka, Shoyo, and Yachi all shared a text along the lines of that

'Yuki? Sure..' Tsukishima and Kageyama pretty much said the same thing

the specific text from the both of them created an unknown feeling well up in her stomach, why is it that they're both different?

the rest of the people gave normal replies. Smiling, she put her phone down and made brunch since it was already 11am

.....

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly, seeing as it was already 2pm in the afternoon.

Remembering the supposed meet-up, Yuki started preparing for the small occasion

well, it was quite big for her since it would be the last time she could see her friends from her short lasted school life.

Styling her brown locks into some beach waves (she still had the lavander tips), and putting on a simple white dress that reached just above her knees.
and lastly, she put a hair clip given to her by Kanao..

sighing as she finished her last touch, she looked into the mirror and smiled, Keeping herself together

Yuki put minimal make-up as she never really learned to use the rest of the products, so she stuck to the usual mascara and lip gloss

deciding not to bring a bag since she wouldn't need it, Yuki finally headed off to the meeting spot

upon arriving, there she saw the people she had been longing to reunite with in some casual clothes

when they laid eyes on her they almost didn't recognise the young lady standing in front of them

"Yuki?" Sugawara called.

"Guys.." Yuki walked closer, and it wasn't long before she was pulled into a small hug.

everyone got their turn to hug her and all was well

"So you're alive" Daichi jokingly said and she gave him a smile like she always used to

"You didn't say anything!" Tanaka exclaimed

"Yeah- all of us were worried, Yuki" Shoyo informed the brunette

"We're glad you're fine though," Yamaguchi continued

Yuki chuckled nervously but laughed it off anyways, savouring the moment filled with small yet joyful smiles from most of the people

"The thing I wanted to tell you guys is that I can't attend Karasuno anymore, meaning I can't play with you guys.."

It was as if the air suddenly got thick around them.

"EHHHHH???? BUT WHY?"

Shoyo, obviously not knowing how to read the atmosphere exlaimed

"Yeah.. why?" Kageyama continued

the girl stayed silent for a moment, not knowing what words to pick.

"Well you see... uhm I got really busy with my job and all, I really can't maintain school and fighting at the same time"

"yeah but- we can still be friends right?" Shoyo was persistent, not wanting to accept it so easily..

"What? ofcourse, i just.. can't see you guys as much anymore"

I might not even see them in forever

"Oh..."

Everyone was silent and the air felt as thin as a thread, they all wanted to say something but couldn't bring themeselves to do it

it was too hard..

"But.. I am really grateful to all of you, I was able to experience a normal life even if it was just for a small while."

A stray tear escaped the brunette's eye as her voice was nearly breaking

"Win as much as you can in Nationals, Okay?"

tension surrounded them as the air got thick once more, that moment where a girl who resided in a traditional life, trained to kill off her enemies, got to live normally even if it was just for awhile

"Yuki.. Thanks for everything, without you Karasuno wouldn't have been where it was now.."

Daichi said, his voice full of emotion and life to it

"Yeah.. Good luck on your future, Yuki"

"I'm the one to thank you guys," - a sentence none of them seemed to grasp

'nothing ever lasts here anyways.'

and that one afternoon was spent with the joyous laughs of the karasuno volleyball team and their former team mate.
