Happy Ending

Chapter 4

Weeks after the shoot took place, the photos were posted on Starz official accounts.

The fans were so happy about it. Their chemistry were undeniable and to think that it was only for a photoshoot. The public opinion were mostly positive considering that both of the artist have many fans.

Their shoot was also the headlines of news for how many days. They made their names more known than ever.

Seokhoon and Rona were at Rona's place doing nothing. Seokhoon was preparing for their late lunch when a call interrupted him.

"Do you like to put cheese on it or nah?" He asked Rona. She's just watching him do all the works on her kitchen.

"Please put a lot of it." She said with her puppy eyes that Seokhoon can't resist.

*RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING*

It was Seokhoon's manager.

"Hello?"

"Hello Seokhoon?"

"Yes manager? What's the matter?"

"I know that it's your rest day today but they want me to confirm it to you by the end of the day. Are you with Rona right now?"

"Yes manger" Seokhoon answered him with still questions in his mind.

"Good. Put it on speaker phone. I am in the company right now. I have something to tell y9ou both." Seokhoon obediently put the phone on speaker mode.

Rona looked at him puzzled with what is happening.

"Hello Seokhoon and Rona? Do you both hear me?"

"Yes." the couple answered at the same time.

"So, after the meeting earlier, we were informed that there are roles offered to the both of you. And yes, you both are each others' love interest." the couple exchange glances.

"Since the public loved the both of you together since the photoshoot, there are few projects that were offered here. I want to hear your opinion whether you both wanted the role or not. And if yes, please choose the one that you think will best suit you. No pressure tho. The company said that it is okay if you will not accept any." Seokhoon's manager explained to them.

"Rona, I am with your manager right now so you can just tell me your answers or just contact her if you're more comfortable with it."

"Yes sir." Rona said jokingly because Seokhoon's manager was so serious about the news and she's not used to it. She always sees him as someone energetic and bubbly also. Well, work is work nevertheless.

The phone call ended but the couple are still in dazed because of the news.

"Soooo....." The couple said at the same time trying to break the air.

They both don't know what to do about it or how to open the topic.

"First, lets eat first. Lets talk after we fill our stomachs." Seokhoon said as he led Rona to the dining table.

Seokhoon set the table up and they proceeded to eat.

"Hmmmmm. You are really a great cook." Rona praised him.

"Of course. I've been with you since God knows when, if I don't learn how to cook, we'll both starve to death. I can't let you die." Seokhoon said dramatically.

Then they both ate in peace. After few more minutes, they finished eating.

"Let me wash the dishes." Rona volunteered.

"Let me help you." Seokhoon insists.

"Just sit there or watch on the TV. You already cooked for me."

"Let me help you and then lets talk afterwards. It's faster that way."

Seokhoon then proceeded to the sink. Rona then can't do anything about it. Seokhoon is too big for him to drag back to the sofa. So, she just let him do what he likes.

After doing the dishes, they are both sitting in the sofa to rest for a minute.

Seokhoon looked at Rona and saw her looking at him. Seokhoon laugh at Rona's cuteness. Her puppy eyes that you can't say no to.

Seokhoon took the courage to speak.

"So, did you see what your manager sent you?"

"Yes. It's about the roles."

"Is there a role you like?"

"Yes. You? Have you chosen something?"

"Yes." Seokhoon also said.

"Ya~ Don't say yes because I said yes. You should choose on your own will."

He laughed at her remark.

"No. Seriously. I want something that was sent by my manager."

"Then lets both say the title at the same time so that we won't affect each other's choice." Rona suggested.

"Good idea."

"At the count of 3. 1... 2.... 3..." Rona counted

"The Happy Ending." the couple said in unison.

Seokhoon screamed inside. Rona on the other hand was grinning ear to ear. She was sure that Seokhoon would chose The Happy Ending. I mean, they were together since birth. She knew that Seokhoon more than anyone else. 

Rona and Seokhoon did a high-five. They were happy about it.

"Lets call our managers then."

"Let's just call your manager since the both of them are together."

The couple then called Seokhoon's manager.

"Hyung~"Seokhoon said when his manager answered the phone.

"So, Rona and I have talked about it. We both wanted the role in The Happy Ending. You can accept that role for the both of us." he added.

"Okay then. I'll talk to the management now and see when we can announce it to the public and prepare articles. Just go here tomorrow with Rona for a meeting. That's what your mother said."

"Okay hyung. Bye. See you tomorrow."

They then ended the call.

"Manger said that we should go at the office tomorrow and talk to Mom."

"Okay then." Rona said as he hugged Seokhoon.

Seokhoon took that opportunity. He leaned closer to Rona and kissed her with much passion. They were out of breathe the moment their lips left each other.

"I love you" Seokhoon said.

Rona smiled and replied, "I love you more."

Seokhoon hugged her again and the rest of their afternoon was just them hugging in the sofa and eventually sleeping.

Ow, and btw, the apartment that they're in is Rona's apartment that's shown in Penthouse. I don't have any visuals for it that's why I can't attach any.
