Chapter 7

Today I woke up extra early because, I was heading to my base today, or atleast that was the plan.

Now it be Jillians POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. It was currently 6:30am on a Saturday. I quickly got up and picked out my outfit for the day. My outfit was a white tank top with Jean shorts that came down to my knees. I also had a hoodie that I was going to wrap around my waist, which was because, at my base it got fairly cold. I also grabbed my black and pink shoes with a light pink headband.

After picking out my outfit, I got a shower, then changed. I then grabbed a backpack and put all my new blueprints, small projects, my laptops, notebook, and my pencil bag. I then put on my gloves and grabbed a sticky note to leave on the fridge. When I came down the stairs, however, I saw Jack already there. 'Crap' I thought to myself. "Oh, hey Jill. I was gonna leave a note for Mom. You're coming right?" I hesitated before nodding my head, thankfully he didn't catch it.

"Alright, I'll just write that down." He then finishes his note and hangs it on the fridge. "What's that stuff you got there?" He points to my bag. "just some projects" I simply explain and he nods his head. "Am I able to work on some schoolwork there?" I asked while we started making our way to the garage. "Yeah."

Obviously I wasn't working on school work, I have been watching this organization called 'mech.' Dad works with them and they have been working on weaponry. I saw Dad on his computer once and found out they weren't working for the government. They were preparing for some 'New World Order' where the strongest overcome the weakest and the smartest over the dumbest. Sounded like a crazy man ran the place.

"Jillian!" I became more focused when Arcee yelled my name. "Uh- Yes?" Jack looked back at me worried. I don't even remember us leaving, let alone the fact we're on the road. "You ok, Jill? I said your name like 10 times." Jack worriedly asks.. Now that I think about it, I feel a migraine. "Yeah, just a headache." He continued to look back at me. "You still get those? I remember you used to get real bad ones as a kid." I nodded my head.

"Well, you can relax when we get to base." Arcee reassured. "Thanks" I responded. Then Jack let out a laugh. "Yeah, if you can keep Miko quiet. Doubt that'll happen." He said. I don't think he could tell, but I started glaring at him. "She's fine." He pulled up his visor when I said that. "Woah, calm down tiger- I was just joking." He nervously said and Arcee laughed.

"Somebody's got a crush" I was then at a loss for words. "What? I don't like her- well I don't don't like her it's just-" Then Jack cut me off. "Woah woah woah- you like girls? I though you were straight! You're a lesbian?" 'Shit' "um- no. I'm Pan. Pansexual. I don't care if someone's a boy or girl or anything. It's more based on their personality." He nodded his head. "Cool" Then he put his visor back down.

"You guys like specific genders?" Arcee asked and Jack just laughed while I slightly snickered.

Once we pulled into base we saw Miko and Raf get out of Bulkhead and Bumblebee. Miko yells up at Ratchet "miss us Doc Bot?" Then we heard Ratchet scoff. "Aren't they supposed to be at school?" She mockingly laughs "It's a Saturday that means we have the whole weekend to spend with you." Arcee then transforms and looks up at Optimus. "Are we ready to go?" He nods and Jack steps up. "Where you off to Arcee?"

She then responds "Sorry, Jack, my turn for exploration duty." Then he returns with "That's a shame Arcee, it's a beautiful day for a ride. Hate for you to feel guilty for leaving me indoors." Then without hesitation she responds "Arctic exploration duty." Jack puts up finger guns "Inside where it's warm." And walks off.
