Winter spotted Scarlett before the blonde could see her. She giggled to herself as she rushed across the terminal, but Scarlett turned around too fast. She was giggling as she ran to Winter, tightly hugging her.

"You're really here!"

Scarlett finally let go of Winter, immediately checking her out as she stepped back.

"Checking me out already, Johansson?"

Winter smirked at the tint of red creeping onto Scarlett's face, "What? It's not my fault my girlfriend's hot."

"I'm sorry, your what? I'm your who, now?"

Scarlett was slapping a hand over her mouth as her eyes widened, "Did I just say that out loud?"

"Yeah."

Scarlett frowned, "Oh, I was gonna ask you in a cute way."

"Well, it's done now." Winter giggled, wrapping her arm around Scarlett, "Now, shall we get out of here?"

"Yes, we shall."

"Maybe I'll even let you take this uniform off of me later." Winter couldn't stop the words before they were flying out of her mouth, but she found more joy than she should've when Scarlett squirmed and tried to hide her face, "What? You've been checking me out since the day we met."

"Oh and you haven't?"

"Okay, that's fair. But at least I'm a little more subtle about it."

Winter's stomach rumbled as they laid in bed, Scarlett snuggled into her side, "Can we go eat?"

Scarlett scoffed, sitting up so Winter could see how offended she was, "Was I not enough for you?"

"I haven't eaten in six hours. I need real food and you don't count as real food."

"That's rude, but I guess that's fair." Scarlett kissed her face, "Where do you want to go?"

"I don't know. I'm not from here."

Scarlett rolled her eyes, "What sounds good?"

"Pizza."

"You just came out here for the pizza. You didn't come out here for me."

"Actually I'm here because of my job." Winter wasn't expecting for Scarlett's mouth to fall open as she stared her down, "I'm kidding, stop looking at me like that. I'm sorry."

"That's what I thought. Now put your clothes on so we can get your stupid pizza."

Winter scoffed as she searched for her bra, "It's not stupid."

"What is that?" Winter turned her head back towards Scarlett.

"What's what?"

Scarlett pointed to her back, "That."

"Oh, my tattoo?" Winter asked after realizing the odd tattoo was visible from its spot just below her shoulder blade.

"Yeah, what is that supposed to be?"

Winter just shrugged, pulling her bra back on and hooking it in the back, "I don't know. My cousin drew it."

"And you got it tattooed on your body?"

"Well, she died, so yes."

Scarlett's jaw dropped as her eyes went wide, "Oh, shit. I'm sorry."

Winter just laughed it off, "It's fine, it was a long time ago."

"I know, but I wasn't trying to sound judgmental or mean and I'm sure that's how it sounded."

Winter just shrugged, "My mother said the same thing when she saw it." Winter was pulling her shirt over her head when she heard her phone buzzing from where it had been dropped on the floor, "Ah, speak of the devil."

Winter answered the call from her mom, putting it on speaker as she dug through her bag for a jacket, "Hi, mom."

"Hi, honey. How's New York? I know you normal avoid it like the plague."

Winter scoffed, rolling her eyes as she grabbed the New York fire department jacket from her bag and pulled it on, "I do not avoid it like the plague. I'm here all the time."

"Honey, the airport doesn't count. When was the last time you were actually in the city?"

"Mom, now is not the time for this."

Julia seemed to get the hint, "Ohhhh, Hi Scarlett."

"Mom, I gotta go. Love you, bye." Winter hung up before her mom could say anything else.

"Your cousin was a firefighter here?" Scarlett asked after watching Winter for a second.

"Yeah. Anyway," Winter grabbed her shoes as she stood up, "Pizza?"

"Are you changing the subject?"

"No, let's go." Winter was clearly avoiding the topic, "What else is there to know? She was a firefighter here and she died."
