Three: "I'll Send You a Copy"

15 minutes later

Y/N Pov

After the 15 minute car ride and catching Tatum up on everything that happened in the house we stopped at the police station. Luckily for me the police station had a very state-of-the-art Medical Center in it which is very surprising considering it's a very small town. Dewey stayed with Sidney while she caught the cops up on everything that happened in that house and Tatum stayed with me as I got patched up. Surprisingly all I really suffered was a few bruised ribs due to the tumble off the balcony and the stab and slash wounds on my right shoulder. Few stitches and bandages fixed the shoulder wound and they gave me some pain meds and treatment recommendations to deal with my ribs. Tatum stayed by my side the whole time.

"Where's Stu tonight?" I asked

"He was spending some time with his parents before they went out of town for a while." she said

"I thought that they didn't have a good relationship."

"They've been trying to work on repairing it recently, Stu's been opening up to them a lot more." she said

"Speaking of relationships." she said teasingly "I've heard you had a crush on Sidney for sometime."

I nearly choked on the water they gave me. Once I recovered I started blushing instantly.

"Where did you hear that from." I asked

She smiled and looked at me." Sweetie, we dated for a year-and-a-half. I think I can tell when you have a crush on someone."

I sighed "Well I suppose that's a good point. It's just that she supported me a time where very few people did and they helped me get through the death of my entire family and took me in with no one else really would of course I love her the feelings only started to develop romantically recently."

"That's really sweet. Why can't Stu be more like you?" Tatum asked

"Well you guys slept together and we didn't." I said

"True but we were and still are more emotionally connected." she said with a smile

We had some small talk for like 10 minutes before a medical officer at came in and told me that I was ready to go and that if I follow the instructions they gave me I should be fine in a few days So me and Tatum both went to get Dewey get Sidney and get out of there, but when they both got into the main room of the station we could clearly see Sidney was clearly uncomfortable with the situation and wanted to get out of their so we both went to talk to Dewey and Sid. Tatum started chastising Dewey while I helped Sidney get up and we all four left the precinct. But of course based on recent luck because there were a ton of reporters waiting outside..

Including Gale Fucking Weathers

"Sidney, Y/N do you guys have time to talk about the attack that happened tonight?" Gale asked

"No Gale Leave us alone" Tatum said trying to avoid a confrontation However It was to late

"No no we have time" Sidney said as she stepped up to Gale

I smirked and stepped up beside her

"How's the book coming, Gale?" Sidney asked

"It will be out later this year." Gale replied

"How did it go writing a book on two different murder cases?" I asked with venom in my voice

"Easier than you would think." Gale replied with a bit of pride

"Oh we'll look for it." Sidney said dryly

We turned and walked away before Gale HAD to say something.

"I'll send you a copy" Gale said

As soon as she did Sidney decked her in the face and as Kenny her cameraman went to defend her I punched him in the gut before grabbing his head and slamming his face into the wall breaking his nose and knocking him out. As soon as this happened Tatum and Dewey got us out of there before we got harassed by reporters.

10 pm

"That was badass." Tatum said as she has been ranting about the back alley beatdown for like 2 and a half hours

"She was like, I'll send you a copy then BAM the bitches went down, you guys are so cool."

I chuckled at this because it was kind of badass but I obviously didn't say it outloud because then Tatum would keep rambling and me and Sidney shared a knowing look that neither of us wanted that to happen. Thank god Dewey came in.

"Thought you guys could use some ice packs for that fight" Dewey said as he tossed us some ice packs.

"Thanks Dewey" Sidney and I both said at the same time. We both looked at each other and blushed when this happened but sadly Tatum took notice so I know I would have to deal with this later.

"Also Dewey I think you have been a cop long enough to know that was not a fight that was an ass kicking." I said with a smirk while looking at Dewey.

"I'm legally not allowed to say that but yeah it really was" Dewey replied with a smirk "also Sidney the phones ringing and they say it for you it's for you."

Sidney and Dewey both walk out of the room while Tatum just gives me this look.

"You were blushingggg" she says with a grin

"Oh shut up Tate." I say giving her a smile

That smile was quickly replaced with dread when we heard Sidney scream from downstairs. Me and Tatum both rushed downstairs and I grabed a knife from the kitchen on the way, when we arrived we see Sidney slam the phone and Dewey in his boxers holding a handgun which would be really funny if i didn't have a feeling who was on the other end of that call. Sidney started to hug me and sob into my chest I hugged back and I realized that I needed to become The Deathripper again because the Ghost faced bastard needed to die and this wouldn't be over until he, she or they are dead.
