"May I ask, why are we here?-" Shiro whispered, loud enough to be heard for the both of you.
You both had the day off , on Friday deciding going out to eat.
"I saw the Haitanis just now."
"What?"
"There." You pointed to the front seeing them, but for some reason Ran is walking away from Rindou.
Shiro sighed seeing you being all invested, just spying them in public-. Until the fact not wanting to continue the hangout and follow the brothers instead.
"Dude, change of plans let's follow them INSTEAD." You gave Shiro an evil grin, probably scheming a mischievous plan.
"Are you actually feeling fine about this?
"Of course, why wouldn't I not be okay with it?"
"Are you scared ?."
"What no-"
"Shiro."
"Oh my god, what now?." Slightly irritated with you slapping his hand aggressively for no reason. The next words that came out from your mouth scared the hell out of him.
.
.
.
."They're not there anymore."
"WHAT!?."
"Be quiet! They might be anywhere right now!." You whispered in panic, closing Shiro's mouth with both of your palms as quickly as possible.
Suddenly you heard a familiar voice from behind. Both of you turned around with embarrassment plastered on your faces.
__
"Well, look who we have here."
"Oh, hi Ran.."
_
"Hello (Y/n), may I ask what were you both doing hm?."
"We just.. uh- you know.. chilling here." Nudging your elbow to Shiro, asking for help indirectly with the question.
"Yeah, she's right were just hanging out today."
"Yes, what he said."
"Oh?"
"Like a date?."
"Huh?" Shiro being dumbfounded with that question. Then it made sense.
"It's not like that though, were just friends.
"Hm I see, well thanks for being honest with it."
"Enjoy your day off."
"Thanks."
"Bye (Y/n)."
"See ya."

Even before Ran caught the both of you, the other brother wasn't there at all. Slightly dissapointed and hurt he's nowhere to be seen in sight.
You were actually looking forward to see him, but unfortunately he's probably.. busy.
Shiro then cheered you up with buying delicious food and some clothes because you barely have any good ones to begin with.

"Why didn't you go with me just now?."
"No reason."
"If you're shy just say it."
"I'm not."
The expression Rindou put out wasn't anything pleasant, he looked pressed. Not wanting to make it seem obvious to his brother, but the way he talks already gave it away.
"You're jealous?."
"I don't know man."
"I mean.. we're not even dating. I don't think it's my place to be like that."
"Don't worry Rin, they're just friends."
"Plus she chose you didn't she?."
"Better take your chance before he does, or it'll be no use for regrets."
"Jeez, you sound like you went through a heartbreak or something-"
"Nah man, I'm just saying."

The brothers had shrimp fried rice for dinner, Rindou peeling off the skin and throwing some minced garlic into the pan. Adding some aroma, it smelled really good. Ran was setting up the table because he'll probably set the kitchen on fire. Not having any decent skills to cook.
He almost forgot to turn off the gas the last time he did attempt to cook something. So Rindou restricted him for going into the kitchen without his supervision, but Ran is improving by not burning off chicken into bits.
'Atleast it's just overcooked and not raw-' he would say that when it happens. Rindou would sigh but he's just trying to hold back his laughter.

"Man, this is so good!" Ran said it while shoving spoonfuls of rice into his mouth. Almost choking too-
"Here's some water." Rindou quickly gave a glass of cold water to him. He took it and chugged it down.
"Thanks."
"Next time be careful when you're eating damn."
"You're worried about me ?"
"Just eat or I won't cook for a whole week."
"Mhm okay okay."
_
They called it a day and decided to sort out the bags tomorrow. It was getting late and they have a busy schedule ahead of them tomorrow. So by all means they went to bed at 11 pm.
_
Rindou couldn't really sleep and wanted to text you, but he doesn't want to be a bother at this time.
It's not too late, not too early, then what's 𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗉𝗉𝗂𝗇𝗀 him?

He sighed while staring at his phone. Seeing his own reflection on the black screen, it then lit up with a notification from a random number.
