"Peyoung Yakisoba!" they both said cheerfully at the same time.

---
"Should we get the all regular one this time or the half and half one?"

"Anything is fine, though that half and half one was really delicious."

"Hmm, I'll get the same one then."

With peyoung yakisoba at hand, the two settled outside the convenience store because the inside was too crowded with customers. Breaking the wooden chopsticks into two, the two clasped their hands together and said 'thank you for the food' then started digging in.

"Is Peyoung Yakisoba your favorite food?" unexpectedly, Shira was the one who initiated the conversation first this time.

"Actually, me, along with the others got influenced by Baji, who's also one of the members of our gang. Him and his Vice Captain kept on talking about it and sometimes would share some yakisoba to us, and eventually I came to like it too, so I'd buy some from time to time."

"Is that so? It's really good. Smells good too."

"He would be really happy to hear that. I'll introduce you to them when we get a chance." the two exchanged smiles and continued eating.

---

With the pair still having no plans going home, they drove further and further until they reached a bridge. Mitsuya parked his motorcycle at the side and pulled the blue haired girl as they ran to the center of the bridge to have the perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Mitsuya lets go of her for a bit and watched her run and lean forward on the railings.

'This might be the perfect time', Mitsuya thought,  standing 5 centimeters away and giving a look of adoration towards the blue haired girl before him as he prepares himself with what he's about to say.

When he was finally ready, he walked towards Shira with a serious expression. Shira tilted her head to look at him, a bit confused as to why he's got such a serious face going on.

"Are you okay?"

"Shira, I have something important to tell you."

"Okay sure. What is it?" the two locked their eyes at each other as if they're having a staring contest, not even giving a single damn about what's going on their surroundings.

"I...." from the corner of his eye, he saw a guy's figure from a distance, acting really weird as it runs to hide behind a tree.

"You?"

"I want to tell..." another unfamiliar figure passed through and hid behind the same tree as the last guy. Mitsuya got really bothered as he keeps getting cut off.

"Tell?"

"I want to tell you that..."

"Mitsuya, what are you trying to say...?"

"What I want to say is..."

"...."

"Shira... I like—"

Mitsuya's eyes widened seeing the guy hiding behind the tree with a gun and was aiming at Shira.

With the pull of the trigger, Mitsuya moved swiftly and embraced her, turning his heel, switching both of their positions.

*BANG!*

The sound of gunshots wringed their ears and made the two flinch while hugging each other.

It felt as though time has stopped again, with everything around them moving ever so slowly.

Mitsuya's body jolted, silently whincing in pain when he felt the bullets pierce his skin from behind.

"M-Mitsuya?" Shira's eyes widened when she touched his back and felt gushes of red liquid.

"Mitsuya, you're...—!" The girl looked at him in horror as the boy was fighting the urge to not react to the pain.

Mitsuya lifted his hands and embraced her more tightly, using Shira to make him look like as though he still got the strength to stand. "Shhh," he whispers, trying to calm her down.

"Mitsuya, you're bleeding!"

"I know..."

"...."

"I'm glad I was able to react at the right time. I've successfully saved you again."

"Mitsuya..." tears started forming on the blue girl's eyes, holding the guy very tightly but in a split second, the two lost their balance due to the guy's weight and Mitsuya slowly fell on the ground, slowly losing the strength on his legs.

Meanwhile, hysterical laughs can be heard behind the tree, where Ryoukeji and some of his men were hiding. The guy playfully spun the gun on his hand and blew the end off in a joking manner, as his way of showing off after successfully shooting someone.

"Like I said, I will only miss once, but never twice."

"C'mon boys, our work here is done. Let's get out of here."

---

"Mitsuya! Mitsuya! Please, I beg you don't close your eyes. Someone! Someone please help! Somebody! Help!!!!!" the blue haired girl screamed on top of her lungs, crying uncontrollably as she tries to stop the bleeding but it was no use.

"Shira... Calm down." Mitsuya uttered which almost came out as whisper.

"How can I calm down, Mitsuya?"

"Shhh..." Mitsuya weakly reached for her face and tried to wipe her tears off with his thumb. "Everything's going to be alright."

"Why did you even save me? I was supposed to be the one who was going to get shooted! Mitsuya, unlike me, you still have siblings and a gang that needs you!"

"... My body moved on it's own just like last time. R-Remember, at the rooftop? I just went there to hangout and coincidentally, I saw you trying to take your own life. Weird as it may sound, but maybe... I-I might be destined to be the person to s-save you." he smiled sadly with tears also forming on his own eyes, as he fights the urge not to close them.

"...."

"I-I... have no regrets."

"...."

"Can you do me a favor? T-Take care of my siblings for me. I-If you ever coincidentally meet with my gang members, tell them that... I died p-protecting someone. I'm sure they'll u-understand."

".... I'm not allowing you to die! Mitsuya..."

"M-My... time is almost running out."

"...."

"S-Shira, I like you. I really... really like you. It's fine i-if you can't reciprocate this s-sh*tty feelings. But if you feel the same way as I do, I'll be...— I'll b-be the happiest man on Earth."

He smiled widely with teary eyes, and touched Shira's hand.

For the last time.

"Mitsuya..." Shira held on to his hand tightly.
