CHAPTER 2 - BROKEN

𝑻𝑾 - 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒈𝒆, 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒆𝒕𝒄.

I enter my house and see nobody. I guess everyone is busy. I didn't had breakfast, not even lunch. I haven't ate anything since yesterday. But nobody cares and I understand their point too. After all I'm an adult, why would they even look after me now? Tears start falling from my eyes and I start feeling dizzy.

"Shiva" I hear someone calling my name so I wipe my eyes and turn around and see it's Krish holding a plate. Well Krish is the only one in my family who cares for me. Oh and my mom too but she is paralyzed so she can't look after me always. "You want to eat something? I know you're hungry", he says to me. "I'm okay", I lie. "No you're not. Eat something. Don't do this to yourself Shiva.", He says with a sad tone. He gives me the plate and sits beside me. "C'mon eat this. I'll sit here till you finish this.", He says. "Why do you even care?", I say, my words trembling. "Because you're my brother and I can't see you get hurt. I'm not like others. I love you and I really want the best for you.", He says. The words he said meant so much to me. I can't control my tears and pull him in a hug. "It's okay. I'm always there for you", Krish says. "Th-...."

I was about to say something but a loud thump made us gasp. I look up only to see Dhara bhabi standing in front of us with a furious look in her eyes.

"What are you doing here Krish?", She asks Krish angrily. "I- I was- I just came here to s- see Shiva", he says. "I think you should be in your room", bhabi says. But Krish doesn't stand up. Instead he looks at me sympathetically. I understand him and give him a signal so he stands up and leaves.

Now I'm here all alone with Dhara bhabi. She stood there giving me angry glares. "What did I do now?", I ask not making an eye contact. "Stay away from Krish ! You'll make him just like you. You'll make him an uneducated loser just like you. It's hard enough to stand you. We don't want another like you here. So you better leave him alone!" , She orders me. I stay quiet. Her words becomes knives that stabs my heart. I feel tears coming out of my eyes. I try control myself but I can't. "Yeah now cry. You're such a stupid fucking loser. You can't do anything instead of crying." , She says and leaves.

I immediately stand up and rush to the washroom. I look myself in the mirror. Hot tears rolling through my eyes. God, what did I do to have this family? I wipe my tears and put my hand on the sink, feeling some sharp object under my palm. I pick it up. A razor blade. I start moving it on my arm until I feel it on my skin and red liquid coming out of it.

ʀᴀᴀᴠɪ's ᴘᴏᴠ

Lying on my bed I keep thinking about Shiva. He sat beside me today oh my God. He even talked to me. I didn't expect that to happen in a millenium. It felt great sitting beside him and talking to him. But why? I don't know. It's just a different feeling which I don't know. He even took my book accidentally. So that means I'm gonna meet him and talk to him again. God, how am I gonna meet him ? We don't see each other often not because of being late but he just doesn't attends classes. Very rare. He comes to college and then sits with his friends talking. To be honest his friends doesn't seems good. They are all bullies of our college. They just hit on every pretty girl of our college, even me. But Shiva seems to be a good person. He is not like them. He is different and quiet too. I find him mysterious. Well, If he doesn't attends classes tomorrow then I have to go to him which I really don't want. What will everyone think even? Well I don't care. But do I? Damn why am I thinking this much even. Let's just wait till tomorrow.

ᴘᴏᴠ ᴇɴᴅ

Raavi tries to sleep that nigh but she can't really. Her mind full of thoughts about Shiva.
