CHAPTER 6 - FATE

There was lovely music playing on the background. 𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒓 𝒚𝒆𝒉 𝒌𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒂 𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒌𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒊 𝒎𝒖𝒋𝒉𝒑𝒆 𝒉𝒐 𝒈𝒂𝒚𝒂; 𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒂 𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒂 𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒊𝒍 𝒌𝒂, 𝒂𝒃 𝒕𝒖𝒋𝒉𝒎𝒆𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊 𝒌𝒉𝒐 𝒈𝒂𝒚𝒂. Shiva offers her, his hand once they finish their dinner. "Wanna dance?". Raavi's face forms a huge smile as she gives him her hand. She held him from his shoulder and he held her from her waist. They danced for few minutes and finally hug each other, both of them smiling.

They finally head out from there and eventually they reach Raavi's house. "Thank you", she says. "Always my pleasure". She looks throughout to see if anyone's there and softly kisses him on his cheek which brings a smile to Shiva's face. "Bye", she says, blushing. "Bye".

By the time, Shiva reaches Pandya house, unknowing of his own fate.

sʜɪᴠᴀ's ᴘᴏᴠ

I enter my house and see it's completely decorated with lights and colourful flowers. On the middle of the courtyard Dhara, Gombi and Dev dancing in joy. I don't understand what they're celebrating. To be very honest I don't care. Even if it's something special they would never include me in their happiness. I search for Krish and see him standing beside maa with a sad sympathetic look on his face. Even Maa also doesn't looks happy.

I sneak out to Krish and put my hand on his shoulder. He flinches and looks at me with a terrifying look on his face. "What happened", I ask him with a concern, "they all look so happy. Why aren't you?". "S- Sh Shiva-", before he could finish his sentence I hear the music stopping.

"Hey Shiva!", Dev says with a large grin in his face "you know today is the best day of my life!". I don't understand anything but still give a smile. They understand from my facial expressions that I'm not understanding anything. "We sent a marriage proposal to the family........", Gombi says while approaching to Dev and puts his hand on his shoulder "... Of Dev's love". I smile, really happy because for him. No matter what he does or says to me, he is my brother.

"Wow ! Congratulations Dev", I say and approach to hug him but he shrugs himself. Krish looks at me signalling 𝑛𝑜 ! I don't understand him. "So who is- that girl?", I ask curiously. Dev blushes and answers, "Raavi Narayan".

For a moment, I don't feel anything. My vision goes pitch black and my hearing soundless. All I hear an echo of their laughing. All my moments with Raavi running like a bullet train on my mind. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒚? 𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒍𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈. 𝑰𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒆.

A snap takes me back from my vision. "What?", Someone says but I'm unable to see them because my vision is still unclear. I look at Krish. He looks at the ground trying his best not to cry. He knows that I love Raavi. He is the only one I told that about. I look at maa, she also has a sympathetic look on her face. Krish must have told her. I can't control my tears and run to my room.

I shut the door and sit by the wall. 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝑰 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔? 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒂𝒎 𝑰 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚? 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒆. 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂 𝒇𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑰 𝒂𝒎. 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒅. 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒅. 𝑺𝒐 𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒅. 𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒐𝒃𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑹𝒂𝒂𝒗𝒊 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒎𝒆. 𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆. 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕? 𝑶𝒉. 𝑰𝒕'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒃𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚. 𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕. I break out in tears.

ʀᴀᴀᴠɪ's ᴘᴏᴠ

"Raavi! Raavi! Raavi!", Maasi screams as soon as I enter home. "God! What happened maasi?", I say surprisingly. She hugs me. "I'm so happy for you!", She says. I obviously don't understand her. "What happened? Tell me something. I don't understand you!". "Gautam Pandya sent his younger brother's marriage proposal for you!", She squeals in joy. "Oh my God! Really?", I say happily. 𝑫𝒂𝒎𝒏 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒗𝒂 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆. I pull myself from the hug and run to my room unknowing of everything. All my moments with Shiva running on my mind continuously.

ᴘᴏᴠ ᴇɴᴅ

While Shiva's heart was broken into a million pieces, Raavi was really happy. What is written in their fate?
