Chapter 6 - Heartless Queen

"Woah! Trouble! This is exciting!" Narinig ko ang boses ni Kiara pero hindi ko siya pinansin. Nakangisi akong nakaharap sa lalaking napatumba ko kani-kanina lang. Oh, come on. Ganun ba siya kahina that he couldn't even bare to stand up? Naka isang suntok pa lang ako.

Nandito nga pala kami sa isang bar. Ewan ko kung anong pumasok sa isip ni Vicky at niyaya kami dito. May balak nanaman yun. Napatingin ulit ako sa lalaki at ngumisi. Kanina kasi nung nagsasayaw ako dito sa dancefloor bigla kasi niya akong sinabayan which is alright for me kaso nga lang hindi ako papayag ng babastusin ako.

Tumayo siya na nakahawak sa tiyan niya. Nagulat ako nung ngumiti siya na nakakaloko. Okay... Abnormal ba to? One minute ago he was in pain and now he's smiling? He's creepy! What a weirdo! 

"Fuck! You had a strong punch there..." Sabi niya nung nakatayo na siya. I smirk at him. Of course, magaling ata ako sa boxing. Everyday excercise ko yun at kapag wala akong ginagawa nag bo-boxing ako."...for a girl." dagdag niya.

Nawala ang mga ngiti ko sa labi. Is he underestimating me just because I'm a girl?

Asshole.

Who does he think he is? I gaved him my how-dare-you-say-that look. He laughed at me because of that kaya naagaw niya ang mga atensyon ng mga tao sa bar at ngayon ay nakatingin na saaming dalawa. Tss. Attention seeker.

"Well this punch of mine ang nagpatumba sayo just a minute ago, have you forgotten already? Ang dali mo naman atang makalimot." This time ako naman ang ngumiti. Nawala naman ang mga ngiti niya sa labi. Got him there. That's what you get for underestimating a girl's power, asshole.

"Ooohh!" Sabay-sabay na sabi ng mga tao sa crowd.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Have I gone too far? Did I hurt your feelings, if ever you have one?" I said in sarcastic and rolled my eyes on him. Napakunot yung noo niya. Pikon pala to e,

Akmang susuntukin niya ako kaya niready ko sarili ko. "Okay. Okay. That's enough for today. Both of you are getting too much attention. Baka mapatalsik lang tayo sa bar na to. That's enough." Humarang sa gitna si Kiara at yung kambal para mapatigil kami. Aish, sayang. I was having fun pa naman.

"Bitch" Narinig kong sabi ng lalaki at umalis na. 

"Great show there. You should have kick him in the balls!"

"Yeah, I'll take note of that."

Nag order na lang kami ng beer at pumwesto sa isang couch, dun sa walang manggugulo pagkatapos.  Nagkwentuhan kami saglit tungkol sa mga hot guys dito sa bar. I'm not interested though. Teka!

"Nakita niyo si Vicky?" Umiling sila. Hay naku! Wala nanaman siya dito. Ang hilig talaga nun mawala. Bahala siya sa buhay niya.

"I suggest you to don't remove your contacts in public baka malaman pa nila yang tungkol sa red eyes mo. Lalong-lalo na sa school niyo. Delikado na." Sabi ni Stark sabay inom ng beer. Siya nga pala yung nag invite saakin dito. Hindi naman ako pupunta dito ng walang dahilan. Ang pinagtataka ko bakit sa bar pa?

"Hindi ko maiiwasan yan. Hindi pa ako sanay." Inalok niya ako ng beer, tinanggap ko naman at ininom. Kahit hindi ako madalas mag bar sanay naman akong uminom ng mga ganito. Mataas tolerance ko sa mga ganito. Kaya hindi ako basta-basta nalalasing.

"Then, this will be a problem." Napatingin ako sakanya. Iba ang aura niya ngayon hindi tulad ng kanina. I think there's a problem.

"Why? Is something wrong?"

"There's someone spying on you." I wasn't shocked. Expected na tong mga ganito.  "And they want you dead." So their really making there move. Took them long enough. A chase for the queen. I smirk at that thought. They can't kill me.

"You're really one hella crazy woman. Normal girls would actually cried in front of me or hug me when they discovered things like that." I chuckled. "Too bad, I ain't just any normal girl." He smiled.

"Did you know how your father got his red eyes?" I looked at him. He seems to understand what I meant. "Haha! It's either your interested or not, ikwekwento ko pa rin ito sayo. Your free to listen though." Inirapan ko na lang siya.

To be honest wala akong alam tungkol sa mga magulang ko, which is alright for me 'cause they're dead already. Wala na akong magagawa dun. Ni-isang memorya kasama sila wala akong matandaan o maalala. But I got a feeling na buhay pa sila. I don't why but I just feel it. 

"He was experimented." He paused for a second. I also stop from drinking. He was what?

"What?"

"Oh, I thought you weren't interested?"

I glared. "Shut up. I said I wasn't but it doesn't mean that I won't listen." 

"Okay, if you said so." Binigyan niya ako ng mapangasar na ngiti. I glared at him again. "Okay, chill. Ito na nga magkwekwento na ako. Tulad nga ng sabi ko he was experimented. Pero hindi lang siya yung pinagexperimentuhan. Marami pang iba. Isa na rin dun ang kanyang asawa, your mother." What? Pati rin ang nanay ko? How could they do that? 

"Pero yung tatay mo lang ang nag success. The others were a failure, including your mother." Naiyukom ko ang mga kamay ko. "What do you think is their purpose of doing that?"

"To serve them." He smiled. So I was right. They'll create an army of it to serve them as slaves. But why would they create those? What for? Is there something gonna happen?

"According to my research once you obtained those pair of red eyes, you can have a big amount of strength, 10x better that an average person can have. You can also have incredible speed and more. You can also have those but only if you already get to the last stage."

"Last stage?"

"Napansin ko kasi yung mata mo hindi pa siya ganun ka pula, siguro mga nasa 3rd stage ka palang. Ang mga mata mo ay meron stage na tinatawag upang malaman mo kung lumalakas ka na ba o hindi pa. Pero sa nakikita ko your speed and strength are still on average level." He paused and he look at me. Nilagay niya yung kamay niya sa baba niya na tila bang nagiisip siya. "Kailangan mo magsanay."

"Who would train me then?"

"Hmm... someone I know for a very long time."

"Care to share his name?"

"It's not a 'he', its a 'she'. And I wont tell it yet, it's a surprise. I know you'll like her. Magkakasundo kayo." I rolled my eyes at him. Ayaw pang sabihin.

"And Victoria, binabalaan na kita. Don't use your red eyes' abilities to the limit."

"Why?"

"Pwede kang mamatay..."
