El's ear was buried away in her 'magical conch shell', as Sirius liked to call it, listening away for any sign of Draco. Both Harry and Sirius had been somewhat bothered by her new caring-ness towards him, although he was technically her family, and so the Spying Device remained by her ear just in case he revealed his location. It had been quiet, with the rustling of leaves and low, shivering breathing from Mr Malfoy- the boy hadn't spoken to a single person ever since he got off the Night Bus.

The question on El's mind was, where in Hogsmeade was he?

"I know I can't get you much, but is there anything you want for Christmas?" Sirius softly asked as he wandered over to where El was washing a few cups of tea in the sink. El glanced over her shoulder and briefly smiled, "How about a tea towel? Lupin doesn't have any, and the water's getting bloody everywhere." She mumbled so that Lupin, who sat in the living room, could not hear.

Sirius chuckled as he leaned his chin on her shoulder, "You know I'd rather give you the world." Placing the last mug down on the side, El turned around. "You already do just by being here and not in Azkaban. Besides, we can't go outside. I wouldn't want you risking things just for the sake of a present." She leaned up and kissed her father on his bearded, chiselled cheek (that could certainly be as sharp of a jawline as the blade of a knife) before wandering off into the living room to Jada, but swiftly stopped when Sirius' hand gripped around hers in an effort to stop her.

"Last night, you had some odd dreams. I- I heard you mumbling." He began as El inched closer with furrowed eyebrows, unsure as to why it needed addressing in such urgency. "Dreams? I don't recall any dreams?" Sirius thoughtfully nodded his head as his muscular arms crossed over his dark green silk shirt, a rather festive choice. "I thought you were talking to the girls. I knocked a few times- no answer. So I opened the door to see you tossing and turning like a madman. Saying that you had to complete the change, the animal inside you had to come out." He looked up to his daughter with concerned eyes, and El's heartbeat picked up in a dreadful fright. "Darling, if there's anything you want to speak to me about, anything to do with-" He hesitated, "-with Animagus', Lupin and I are the appropriate people to do it with. I don't want you doing this by yourself. You can get locked up in-"

"In Azkaban. I know. I told you before, dad. I had a weird lucid dream when I got my concussion, and I had one when we were away- I was chanting the spell for it. But I swear to you that I haven't done anything!" El begged, though not silently enough since Remus wandered in away from the loud and somewhat competitive game of Wizard Cards in the other room.

"What's going on in here?" The tired Professor politely asked, leaning upon the very same cupboard that El and Harry had done-

El breathed uncomfortably, trying to shake off the thought in front of her dads. She was still coming off of the high...

"Elektra's subconscious wants to become an Animagus." Sirius bluntly told his husband, whose eyes widened at the thought.

Why did the two of them have to be so similar? Remus annoyingly reflected as Elektra stood defeated like a child in the centre of the room. "I haven't done anything! I'm just having all these dreams." Remus and Sirius looked at one another knowingly as they recalled having the same conversation all those years ago with James and Peter. "Be honest, El. Have you thought about it? Consciously, that is." Remus asked as Sirius chimed in, "As I said, we're seemingly the best people to come to about this."

Elektra huffed as she stared out of the kitchen window at the very same woods she nearly died in during a past full moon. It was true that she had considered it, perhaps not as much as the two of them had liked, but it was definitely at the back of her mind.
