A beautiful evening and VANSH was standing at the mouth of the beach thinking about his past and also the way he was behaving around a particular human.
He has had a painful experience falling in love, he even thought of love being a curse but did he want to be cursed by this emotion called love again. Was he falling in love again?
He had once fallen in love with Ragini only to be betrayed by her very badly, after which he had always maintained a safe distance with all the girls around. But suddenly he wanted to close this distance for once, only with one girl, RIDDHIMA.
He was thinking about how sweet she was for the good people and how savage she was with the ones who messed with her. How mature she acted when required and how childish and carefree she was otherwise and not to forget how happy he felt in her company.
"Jab jab tere paas Main aaya ik sukoon Mila
Jise Main tha dhundta aaya woh wajood mila"
He felt so happy after a lot of time, he now felt there was a person who genuinely cared for him. He was now going to her whenever he felt low and she was always there for him. She now filled the loneliness he had in his heart.
"Jab aaye mausam gham ke tujhe yaad Kiya
Jab seemed tanhapan se tujhe yaad Kiya."
But he used to suddenly realize what he was doing. He did not want another heartbreak.
"Dil sambhal jaa zara phir mohabbat karne chala hai tu...
Dil yahi ruk jaa zara phir mohabbat karne chala hai."
He got to know that Riddhima loved him because...
Flashback:
In Riddhima's house, Vansh had gone there to confront Riddhima because off late she had started to ignore him, she was not taking freely with him and this was irritating Vansh.
They had a small argument with Vansh asking her why she was ignoring him and Riddhima asking him to leave.
But finally she couldn't take anymore and blurted out that she loved him but knew that he wouldn't so she was maintaining a distance from to stop her feelings from growing.
Not knowing what to do he left from there and came to the beach.
Flashback ends.

e did not want to have any feelings other than friendship and respect for her but...
He tried to forget her knowing that he wouldn't be able to love her but failed miserably because he somewhere knew he had already fallen for her.
"Kuch bhi nahi Jab darmiya
Phir kyun hai dil tere hi khwaab bunta.
Chaha ki de tujhko bhula par yeh mumkin ho na sakaa"
He closed his eyes imagining his late mother who resides in his heart and he had always taken the right decisions when he imagined her and thought what would have been her advice in this situation.
He had once done a mistake during Ragini's time but now he wanted to the right thing.
He wanted to love Riddhima without any fear but his past was not letting him to.
He closed his eyes and could only see his mother taunting him because of his cowardice. He could only see her scolding him for not even trying to move on.
He knew Riddhima wasn't a girl like Ragini but still he feared.
He did not know what to do.
"Kya hai yeh silsila
Jaanu na Main jaanu naa..."
He was now getting frustrated and decided to go back home. But knowingly or unknowingly he took the route to Riddhima's house.
"Jis raah pe hai ghar Tera
Aksar waha se Haan main hun guzra"
He was all of a sudden gaining a bit of confidence, he was starting to feel that there is a chance that she would be his and vice-versa.
He finally decided that he would open up to her about his past, his insecurities, his pain which he had hidden in his heart, every single thing he would tell her. He did not mind telling her because he knew she was not a judgemental person, she would understand and wait for him.
"Shayad yahi dil Main raha
Ki tu mujhko mil jaaye kya pataa"
This assumption of his was damn true because Riddhima was waiting for him to open up to her.
