The crowd went wild as Jackson Wang introduced the show. Screams everywhere. Fans everywhere. Celebrities everywhere. It was going to be one hell of a night...
EXO, Baekhyun, Lay and Sehun sat together at the front, BTS next to them, 6 members of GOT7 next to BTS, GOT7's Jackson Wang was hosting. Ariana Grande sat behind EXO, Panic! At The Disco, Adam Lambert and Queen were next to Ariana. Justin and Hailey Bieber sat behind Queen, The Sidemen (KSI is a member of the Sidemen) were next, then famous twitch streamers including Valkyrae, Disguised Toast, 39Daph, Corpse Husband (Who is wearing a mask), Fuslie, Jacksepticeye and Sykkuno. Behind them were Tik Tok and Instagram celebrities (I don't agree with these people being called 'celebs' as they're far from it and competely talentless but for the story they're here) and many more celebrities.
This years award show has been packed full of such famous people. Baekhyun was pretty sure he saw Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Reynolds and Johnny Depp walking in and laughing with each other. Ryan is known for being a fan of EXO so he was excited to see his reaction to the video and album.
Baekhyun felt so nervous, he was also terrified of his little space taking over. This was the first award show hes been to as a guest, he was host last time which could arguably be worse as he was standing in front of at least 50,000 (50k/50 thousand/ fifty thousand) people in the stadium plus the millions watching at home while now he was in the audience. The only reason he would need to go on the stage is for the performance and if they win any awards.
His nerves settled when he felt a strong hand squeeze his thigh, he turned to see Lay giving a reassuring smile. Even after everything he had done to Baekhyun, he felt at ease seeing the beautiful smile, showing off the Chinese mans beautiful dimples.
"Don't worry Baekhyun-ah, I'm here for you." Lay sounded so genuine. However Baekhyun didnt seem like the best judge of character the last year so he didn't know whether he wanted Yixing to be genuine or Yixing is actually being genuine.
Baekhyun drifted off in his own thoughts, ignoring all the commotion around him. His poor judge of character...? Who?
'Lay would be the first, I thought he was starting to love me, I was wrong. I was confused as to what Sehun was doing and the whole baby thing which yes was settled but why isnt Sehun telling me who he's dating because now...I feel a bit jealous? I don't know but he always flirted with me before he found out about me having sex with...Clay...that was a shock. I thought Clay was a great guy but he seemed to want to get back at Sehun? I don't know why, but going off the comments under that post when Clay said it isnt his fault all of Sehun's exes go to him I can kind of guess. I seriously need to go and study psychology or something because I am so bad at being able to tell if people are good and genuine or not ' Baekhyun thought.
All of a sudden he was brought out of his thoughts by a hand on his thigh, but this time it was his other thigh.
"I need to talk to you after hyung." Sehun whispered. Baekhyun turned to glare at Sehun and pushed his hand off his leg. He was pissed at Sehun. Shouting at him for having sex with someone. He didnt know Clay had bad intentions so Sehun had no right to shout at and then ignore Baekhyun.
Sehun sighed and faced towards the stage, focusing on Jackson who was just about to announce the premiere of their new video 'Don't Fight The Feeling'.
"Everyone, we have such an amazing surprise tonight! Right now you're all going to see the new music video, 30 minutes before everyone else IN THE WORLD, for 'Don't Fight The Feeling' by EXO, Baekhyun, Lay Zhang and Youtuber and dancer Oh Sehun! DJ RUN IT!"
The crowd were screaming so loud that the beginning of the video couldnt be heard. Even when the beat started coming in, like a bouncing bubbly sound, it still wasnt heard. People were beyond ecstatic that this collab happened.
The whole time people were screaming, everytime one of the guys showed up the fans grew louder. Seeing the excitement on the fans faces was incredible. Kai and Baekhyun were looking around the stadium and watching everyones reactions, well everyone they could see.
Once the video had finished a quick 10 second clip of each song on the album was played. First Paradise;
Then Runaway;
Next was Just As Usual;
And finally No Matter;
Social media was going crazy, 'Don't Fight The Feeling' was already number 1 trending worldwide, the album got 1 million pre-orders and the video was also trending. It seemed to be getting at least 2 million views every hour after it was released.

EXO, Sehun, Lay and Baekhyun had tears in their eyes at the immediate positive response. Of course EXO were technically used to it but the feeling never left, they always were grateful.
"EXO, Lay Zhang, Baekhyun and Oh Sehun will perform Don't Fight The Feeling for us tonight!" Once again the crowd went wild. It had been some time since the members sang anything live on stage together so this was a treat.
"Later we will have a special performance from soloist Baekhyun, we will continue with our awards and we have another premiere! So let's get on with the first awards! Presenting the first award is..." The crowd became silent, waiting to find out who the presenter would be...each and every fan and even celebrity hoping it's someone they love.
"...World renowned actor who is loved by everyone....."
Everyone was on the edge of their seats.
"TOM...CRUISE!" Everyone was completely shocked. No one would of even guessed he would be here let alone present an aware.
Although Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and Ryan Reynolds were at the show too so maybe it isnt too crazy...
Music was blaring loudly while a small muscular figure walked forward and into the middle of the blinding lights...
"Hi there everyone!" Fans shouted "hello" back, causing Tom to smile brightly which earned him some more screams.
"I'm here to present the award for the most influential celebrity of the past year! Let's take a look at the nominees!"
