Chapter 62 ♡ Awakening

Opening his eyes, to see a white ceiling, looking around to see the hospital room.

'Oh God', he thought. He was in an accident.

Baekhyun proceeded to push himself up and sit in the bed. Thinking over what had happened. He remembers the bright lights of the car and then, a very horrible pain shooting through his body.

A pain he'd never felt before, and hopefully will never feel again.

All of a sudden he groans, his body trying to make him realise he needs to rest and heal.

Almost as if she knew, a female nurse came in and with a bright smile racing towards him.

"I'm so glad to see you're awake! How do you feel Baekhyun?" He tries to speak but nothing comes out, not even a small noise.

"Ah, sorry. You'll need some water, you've been out for a few days." She brings a cup towards him with a straw, pointing it towards his mouth as he takes a drink.

"You've had a hard hit to your head but thankfully nothing major. You will need to take it easy for the next few weeks." She said softly.

Baekhyun clears his throat, finally feeling able to speak.

"T-Thank you. Well, when can I go?" The nurse looked down at her chart.

"Possibly in a week, we need to do a few tests now that we couldn't do while you were unconscious and asleep. The first thing is just a simply examination. But you'll be fine, really! You don't need to worry." She smiled and swiftly left the room leaving Baekhhun to his own thoughts, wondering where everyone else had been and if they even cared to know what happened.

Its almost like a curse, being a little. It happens when you don't want it to, which unfortunately led to horrible experiences and being abused.

And cheated on.

He wondered what was going on at that moment. What had happened in the earth's atmosphere that allowed him to have fame.

The fame brought nothing but hell and made his issues way worse than before. He really needed this moment in time to gather his thoughts.

It was then that he made the final decision, an awakening as some call it. He will get a therapist. He will fix his issues. He will take control. He will not let people walk all over him. He will stay single, well, hopefully...
