Chat watched Marinette as she prepares to leave school. He noticed that hardly anyone but Marinette's friends, Alya and Nino, had talked to her before leaving themselves. He stared at her as she stood in the courtyard of the school, looking out in search of something. Chuckling to himself, Chat made his way from the roof top he was to the school's door.
"Chat? What are you doing here?" Some girl asked, "I thought I was going to join you on patrol later."
He glanced over at the girl before continuing on his way to Marinette. "Want me to give you a lift home, Mari?"
Marinette stared at him in disbelief as she reoriented herself to her surroundings. "It's not too far of a walk and I would prefer to walk if that's okay. But you're more than welcome to join me."
As the duo made their way out of the school, the girl from before wore a sour look. She couldn't believe the black cat ignored her.
