Root's POV

   It was a sunny morning. I woke up from my slumber and got changed.
   I saw my mom at the dining table talking to the kitchen maids.
   She saw me at the door and invited me to sit down too. "How I miss waking up and having breakfast with mom like this.", I whispered.
   "Goodmorning, Root!", Mom greeted. "Goodmorning Your Majesty!", The maids greeted.
   "Good morning." I greeted back with a smile.

//Time Skip//

   I'm having a meeting in the morning. Gosh...
   "The Black Sea Clan's market wants to have a trading system with our market.", A woman said.
   "Wait, before we proceed... What's your name?", I asked.
   "Sorry for the late introduction, Your Majesty. I'm Elaia from the Warrior's Clan.", She said.
   "So... You're an adventurer or a warrior?", I asked while looking at her bright red hair.
   "No, Your Majesty. I'm only a trader.", Elaia answered.
   "By the way, is there any problems regarding a trading system with them?", I asked while looking at the trading papers.
   "There's none, Your Majesty". She said.
   "Can it benefit us?", I asked.
   Elaia smiled and said, "Yes, Your Majesty. It can benefit us."
   With thorough thinking, I signed the trading papers ang gave it back to Elaia.
   "Mysteria is really lucky to have someone like you to be it's Queen.", Elaia said.
   "Why do you say so?", I asked.
   "You're wise, kind, thoughtful, and beautiful.", Elaia said with a smile.
   "Oh, I'm flattered. Thank you.", I said as I smiled shyly.
   "Is there anything to talk about regarding the tradings and adventurers?", I asked.
   Elaia handed me a bunch of paper with a bunch of adventurer's quests written on it.
   "What is this for?", I asked.
   "You can read it later, Your Majesty. After you finish reading those, You can call me here tomorrow and tell me your opinions.", Elaia said.
   "It's really exhausting to be a Queen.", I sighed.
   "It really is...", Elaia sighed.
   "It is that all?", I asked.
   "Yes, your Majesty.", Elaia answered.
   I stood up and said goodbye to Elaia before leaving. When I got out of the meeting room, a dwarven stopped me.
   "Greetings, Your Majesty.", The dwarven said.
   "Who are you?", I asked.
   "I'm Brook, Your Majesty.", He said.
   "How can I help you, Brook?", I asked.
   Brook told me to follow him to the nearest window. And so I did.
   "Why did you led me here?", I asked.
   He pointed at the forest and said, "We need your help, Your Majesty. Our Village kids was taken away by bandits.", Brook said.
   "Why didn't you tell the guards?", I said.
   "The leader of the bandits told us that if we tell the guards, they will kill all of the kids. The leader also told me that he will let go of the kids if you are the one that will negotiate with them.", Brook stated.

//Time Skip//

   I packed all the needed things in my bag. After packing, I sneaked late at night in the castle to go out in the forest...all alone.
   I met Brook on my way to the forest. He led me to where the bandits are.
   After a while, the bandits got out from their lair.
   "What do you want in place for the kids?", I asked.
   "We want gold!, Tons of gold!", The leader said.
   "Gold?...okay I can give it to you right now as long as you hand over the kids to me safely.", I said.
   I took a tiny real gold bar from my bag and tossed it to their leader."Now, do you trust me?", I said.
   "Okay...hand the kids to her, but!... Leave one behind.", He said.
   "What do we do, Your Majesty?", Brook whispered."Don't worry, I got this." I said.
   I looked at the water that I leaked secretly a while ago while waiting for them to come out.
   I took a pouch full of gold coins from my bag and tossed it to the leader."Hand over the last kid and I'll give you more.", I said.
   He pushed the last kid to Brook. Then I looked at the spilled water again to see if it reaches their bare foots.
   When I was sure of the timing, I threw an improvised electric bomb that will electrify the spilled water beneath their feet.
   "Gold is very important nowadays...why would I give tons of gold to you? I'm not that dumb, you know?", I said.
   "How did you do that?", Brook asked.
   "Just one of my inventions", I laughed. "Shh!, Don't tell this to anybody, okay?", I said.
   "It's a pleasure to keep your secrets, Your Majesty.", Brook replied."By the way, Thank you so much for your help, Your Majesty.", Brook said.
   "You're always welcome. I'm just doing my duty to protect my people.", I said.
   "I'll go now. Keep the kids safe before you call the guards. They won't be able to stand up because of the electrocution. Be safe and Goodbye." I said.
   I ran as fast as I can to go back to the castle before the sun rises. I told the guards what happened and ordered them to keep silent about the things that I did. They look worried at first but they said that they'll keep it a secret.
   I sneaked back to my room and cleaned up my mess. After changing back to my slumber gown, I laid back in bed and stared at my ceiling.
   "Such a long night...", I whispered as I shut my eyes to sleep.
