Braeden:

I just moved here. All the way from sunny, warm, Richmond, Virginia.

I loved it there. Everybody knew me and I was popular.

Then, Mom had to ruin it and move here to Newburyport, Massachusetts because she would get more money. She needs all the money she can get raising twin boys.

Yes. I am a twin. His name is Asher. He was supposed to be a girl, but I still don't see how Asher is a girl name.

I am older than Asher by a day. We are those twins that are born on two seperate days. I was born on August 8th 1997 at 11:05 PM and my brother was born on August 9th 1997 at 12:33 AM.

Anyways.

I'm here in Massachusetts and my mother, being the socially awkward mother she is, set up my neighbor Armie to give us a tour. Who names their kid Armie and who sets up their sons for a tour?

It was Thursday and Armie came over at 3:30. He obviously had school earlier and I luckily got to start next week on Monday.

"Hi. I'm Armie." He said holding out a hand for each of us to shake.

"Braeden." I said

"Asher." Said my identical.

"Okay, I don't know how I'll remember that!" He said smiling. "We'd better get going." He said leading us down our street to the big high school. I was a little intimidated about starting at a new school, but sometimes you have to dive right in.

Armie led us into the school and waved to a boy known as Matt. He waved back and took a turn into the main office. Armie informed us that that was the main office and then led us down the hallway. There were 12 classrooms on each side, except the left because there was another hallway. Armie pointed to each class giving it a name, with a monotone voice. I wasn't paying attention much, I was hoping he'd help me on the first day.

Armie took us down the left hallway and then upstairs. He showed us his locker and the auditorium. The cafeteria was down the hall and then the field house and gym. Where I knew I would spend a lot of my time. NOT. I only row and dive, mainly a fish. Asher, was pro basketball and lacrosse.

Armie took us to the pool, which had some diving platforms and diving boards, I think I wouldn't mind. Then he took us to the ice rink where he said that there is a free skate once a week, every Friday. I saw a girls hockey team skating around and Armie waved to to girls.

"Who are they?" Asher asked, clearly interesting on finding a girlfriend.

"Number 24 is Wilbur Reed, my ex-girlfriend and now best friend. And number 70, the goalie is Tukka, or as we call her Tuck, Adams."

Asher gave the 'Not Bad Obama' face. Saying that he approved of this school.

Armie led us out to the main foyer and asked us what we thought.

Asher said, "I like those girls, and I like the easy layout. Braeden?"

"I liked the pool, because I dive, is there a rowing team?" I asked.

"Yes, I am actually part of it. I can tell Steve that someone new is looking to be on it. You will meet lots of new people, definitely." Armie said holding the door open for us.

We passed small talk back and forth the whole way home and then we walked our seperate directions. Right before I walked in the door I hear and loud 'Wait!'. I turned around to see Armie running my way. Asher had already entered the house.

"Yes?" I asked him as he handed me a piece of paper.

"My number, unless you need anything."

"Thanks." I said turning around to enter the house.

"I wouldn't worry if I were you."

"About what?" I asked with a confused expression on my face.

"About starting a new school. I can already tell that you will have a lot of friends and girls chasing after you."

"Thanks." I said blushing.

"See ya around Asher!" He shouted as he walked away.

Great. He was talking to Asher.

I should be worried.

I was shy.

Girls liked confident.

Hopefully I will meet the right one.
