"Oh it's you again." James turns the corner and says. "I keep bumping into you, are you following me or something?"
Tyler turns around to face James, who he might have been tailing the past week. "What? No, I don't even know you." It's not completely a lie since Tyler's only ever seen James from a distance. That really makes him sound like a stalker.
"This level only has senior classes though, what are you doing here?" James questions and raises an eyebrow. Tyler gives a nervous chuckle, "I made a wrong turn somewhere." He's starting to regret coming up and wanting to bump into James. James must think he's a weirdo right now.
"Really? Need me to walk you to class?" James' offer catches Tyler off guard and he raises his head to meet James' eyes. Somehow, he's forgotten how to breath.
"Is that a no?" James asks after a moment, while Tyler couldn't find his words. He quickly shakes his head, "No! I mean, uh you can-"He quickly shuts his mouth before he says something weird. James chuckles then pats Tyler on his head.
"Okay come on, let's go." James says and starts walking off, nudging Tyler to follow him. "I'm James, but you probably already know that don't you?" James introduces himself and glances over at Tyler.
Tyler looks away, he might have heard someone calling out to James in the hallway before, but James doesn't need to know that. "I'm Tyler, it's nice to meet you." He gives a small smile.
James gives a nod then looks down the hallway, "so which one's your class?" He really does intend to send Tyler all the way. Imagine what everyone in class would think. "I'm fine now and you have to get to class too right?" Tyler stops walking, expecting James to stop too.
"I have to make sure you don't take another wrong turn and end up lost again." James teases as he looks into the classes he walks by. Then he turns oh his heels and looks at Tyler expectantly while holding his books behind his back, "you coming?"
Tyler sighs and reluctantly walks over. People were staring discreetly and whispering already. Everyone knows James, firstly because he's a handsome senior so he's super popular and also because he's apparently super rich. "Thanks for walking all the way here." Tyler says as they stop outside his classroom door.
He digs into his pocket and pulls out a piece of candy and hands it to James. "and sorry for bothering you." He continues as James takes the candy. He wasn't actually sorry but it was a polite thing to say.
James reaches over and ruffles his hair, "try not to get lost again yea?" He chuckles then turns to leave as Tyler walks into class. He held the piece of milk candy in his palm as he muttered to himself, "candy huh? How cute."
He makes it back to class just on time. "Dude where were you?" Simon asks as he sits down. "I met Tyler." James answers as he pops the candy in his mouth. Simon looks at him confused, "who's Tyler?"
"You know, that kid that's been following me." James brings his hand up to his ears to show how tall Tyler is. "The junior? Seriously?" Simon raises his eyebrow. "Do you have nothing better to do?"
James shrugs, "No, not really."

During break, James and Simon were sitting at their table when Tyler walked in to the cafeteria. Simon nudges James and looks in Tyler's direction. He walked in alone, got food alone and found an empty table to sit alone too. Simon sucked in a breath, "does he have no friends?"
James grabs his food and gets up. "You coming? Or you'll be the lonely one." James pokes fun at Simon and made his way over to Tyler's table. Simon scoffs before getting up and walking over too.
