Tyler had his hands full with the three plates of food James got him to hold as he followed James out of the kitchen and into the empty hallway. This part was probably out of bounds for the guests.

James walked down the hall until the chatter and music from the living room couldn't be heard. This way, they wouldn't be heard either.

James used his elbow to push open the door. He set the glasses and plates down on the floor before reaching for the switch to turn the lights on. Tyler went in after him and set the plates down on the floor too.

This room was a little smaller than James' room, but it was quite lavish. There was a big bed and small table at the corner, making for huge floor space. "Whose room are we in?" Tyler asks as he sits.

James shrugs, there were too many rooms in the house to keep tract. "Just one of the guest rooms." He pokes his head out into the hallway to make sure no one saw them before closing the door. There's no way anyone would guess that they were here.

He goes to the bed and grabs the pillows, throwing some over to Tyler, before sitting down. "Are we going to stay here the whole night?" Tyler asks, putting the pillow on his lap. He'd removed his suit jacket a while ago and it was lying on the ground beside him in a neat square.

"Do you want to?" James asks in return as he takes his jacket off too and loosens his tie. Tyler nods his head, being in here alone was much better than out there with the crowd.

He starts to pick at some of the food as James opens the bottle of grape juice and pours it into the two cups. He holds one out for Tyler to take and they clink their glasses together.

"Cheers."

It's sweet and sizzles a little as Tyler swallows a whole mouthful of it. James downs the whole glass. He grabs the bottle to pour himself more as he grins and looks up at Tyler. "Let's play truth or dare."

Tyler agrees, even though he's never played it before, it sounds pretty fun. "Do you want to go first?" James offers as he picks at the fries. Tyler shakes his head and  lets James start. He picks truth and Tyler thinks about it for a while.

There's actually a lot of things he could ask, but what should he ask first. He finally decides on one, "how many people have you dated?" James hums, not expecting Tyler to be so straightforward.

But, it's a good start. It's going in the direction James wants it to.

"I think around 1 or 2?" He answers, playing around doesn't count as dating so there's only a small number. Tyler's eyes widen a little, he'd thought it would be a bigger number, a double digit or something. "Really?"

James nods, technically he was telling the truth. "Your turn, truth or dare?" He asks before Tyler could question him. He picks truth, of course. James already has something in mind. "Are you straight?" He asks without hesitation.

Tyler slowly breathes out a big breath of air, it'll probably be okay if he said the truth right? "You can't tell anyone, okay?" Tyler waits for James to agree before shaking his head. Then Tyler picks up his glass and sips his drink, waiting for a reaction.

It's usually not very good.

But James just hums and continues the game. "I pick dare." Tyler sets down his glass, that was better than he thought it would go. "I dare you to..." he slowly drags out, not being able to think

of anything fun as he looks around the room for inspiration.

There was nothing inspiring, the room was practically bare. James was starting to get bored from waiting and Tyler just spit out the first thing that came to mind. "I dare you to dance around the room."

James raised his eyebrow at him but still pushed himself to his feet anyway. "Any kind of dance?" He asks, since Tyler didn't specify. He nods and an idea pops into James' head. He smirks as he pulls out his phone.

Tyler turns to watch him as he walks to the table to set his phone down. A melody starts playing as James walks back to Tyler and offers him his hand. "What are you doing?" Tyler asks warily. When he said dance, what he had in mind was some awkward arm movements or maybe the chicken dance.

James grins even wider as he reaches down and pulls Tyler up to his feet. "Dancing." He replies as he positions one of Tyler's hand on his shoulder. "Why am I doing it too?" Tyler asks but lets James does as he wants.

"I can't waltz alone, can I?" James holds Tyler's other hand out before pulling him along with the music. Tyler winces as he looks down at his feet, trying his best not to step on James feet and more importantly not to step on his expensive looking shoes.

James leans closer to Tyler, making him tear his eyes away from the floor and look up at him. "It doesn't matter, just follow the music." James says in a low voice as his grip on Tyler's waist tightens a little.

Tyler's eyebrows crease together as he tries his best to follow along, but after every other step he'd go the wrong way or step on James. He lets out a sigh and slumps down, clearly about to give up.

James watches him then lets out a chuckle, "you're so focused." He removes his hand from Tyler's waist for a moment, reaching up to close Tyler's eyes. His hand slides back down to Tyler's waist and pulls him even closer.

Tyler swallows, keeping his eyes shut but feeling James' body pressed onto his. "Just follow me." A whisper sounds right beside his ear, making his breath get caught in his throat. His hand slides over James' shoulder and he loosely wraps it around his neck.

His heart was beating so hard in his chest as James leads him around the room. He could feel the slight heat of James' breath at the tip of his ear as he imagined what they looked like, dancing around the room like that.

He wasn't paying attention to his steps anymore as he listened to the music and relaxed into James' arms. "You're getting pretty good." James voice rings out so close to his ear that Tyler flinches away a little.

He opens his eyes to find himself staring right into James' eyes, their faces were only inches apart. Tyler's eyes widen and he gasps, uncoiling his arm from around James' neck and pulling away just as the song ends.
