Lilith POV

''Yah gotta make a pact with me.''

Rachel looks at me but doesn't seem to understand. I clear my throat and take out a notebook from my desk.
''You see, if we make an official demonic pact, I will know that you're not lying. You'll be bound to telling the truth.'' I skip through my notes. It's a simple blood pact but I've never tried it before. I can't let that show or else she has no reason to believe me.

''That really works?"
"Well, it should."
"It...should?" Ah dAMMIT I made it too obvious already.

I turn around again, leaving her confused while I mumble to myself: "No, I wasn't being too obvious. She just wasn't that quick-witted before. Pretty dumb, actually. Why was she suddenly able to recognize the flaws in my words?"

"Hey, are you okay?'' I ignore Rachel.
AH I KNOW. The only reason for her being so smart out of a sudden is that the demon has taken over!!
I make an over-dramatic turn to face her green eyes.

"I let my guard down because of yah damn cute face!" DID I REALLY JUST SAY THAT SHSJDHSJD
"BUT! Now's my chance." I go to a chest in a corner of my room and open it. I take out a red sheath and turn around again before pulling out a big, shiny sword.

"Uhm, I thought you liked demons?" Her eyes show a tiny bit of fear, but besides that, she doesn't seem scared at all. It must be the demon in her.
"I do, but it can be very dangerous to face a demon you don't know a lot about. I'm just taking safety precautions."

I take a brush and start painting a pentagram on the floor.
