"You see, we have a pet named Heraph. He's really hungry all the time. He even ate one of our guards. Their limbs were separated from their body like you and your sister." she grinned as Izumi glared at her. If looks could kill, everyone would be happy by now.

"He drank their blood, ate the meat like its the most delicious dish he could eat. It's really interesting to look at. Just like a play in theater." 

If only he have weapons now, he'll separate her head from her body. He wanted to do that.

He knows it's disgusting to watch, but it's so satisfying and amazing. Just like she said. The sound she makes, the way her blood flooded the fancy floor, the way her limbs was ripped into two and her insides was taken out of her stomach. Refreshed. 

The same way happened to her father. 

Izumi don't care what happened to them now as his eyes was glued to one girl responsible of all the killings and also the girl he adores. (name)

Standing far from him, until she run towards him. She checks his body as she reached him, worry in her eyes. Asking if he's really okay before hugging him and whispering 'sorry's. He hugged her back, burrying his face to her neck and inhaling her scent. Bloody scent.

"Don't say sorry, you came back. didn't you?" he cupped her cheeks and smile. 

"No, I came back.. because I wanted to repay for all y-you've done for me." she lowered her head, confessing.

"Doesn't matter. You came back and I'm happy." 

Can he be mad at her? Just for once.

"Let's get out of here." she nodded as they leave the mansion. 'thank you's and 'stay safe's were heard from the servants and prisoners. Then they disappear in the dark forest. 

They holds each others hand as they walked in the dark. Talking about how to find his sister so that they can live their life together. She wants to tell him, about her main goal, her promise. Izumi stopped.

Turning to her, he stares at her for so long and feeling all confident he speak. "Can I kiss you?" 

Her eyes widened, taken aback by his question. Why did he say that? 

"What?"

"Can I... kiss you?" he asked again, rubbing his nape in embarassment. His cheeks was red.

"Why?" she said, confused. Why would he kiss her? Did something happen? Is he happy? Are they dating?

He bitted his lower lips and shakes his head, "Nevermind." Did she just rejected him? she's dense, boy.

The dejected sound he said, made her feel bad. As a sorry, she tiptoed and kissed his cheek. Izumi's eyes widened then his cheeks turned into dark shades of red. He covers his face as he couldn't face her now. 

You smiled and takes his hand before running to the biggest tree in the forest, "Let's stay and sleep up there tonight, alright?" he nodded. Following your lead climbing to the top until they reached the nest looking space. It looks like someone was here before them. 

"Oh this? I found this earlier and decided to create this nest so that we can stay here tonight." you explained, back facing him as you put your slingbag down. While Izumi sits, hugging his knees and legs. Placing his head on his knees as he watched you spread the blanket on the human made nest. You caressed the blanket to feel any form that could make him uncomfortable sleeping. 

"Wait, the girl said about a tiger... in this forest." Izumi remembers, concerned.

"Oh that... don't worry, I killed it." you say easily, saying like it's a normal thing. The information leaves Izumi's jaw hanging then he shakes it off.

You smiled and turned to him, "It's done. You can sleep now. You must be tired." 

Izumi continue staring at you. 

"Izumi, are you okay?" you crawled to him, placing your hand on his forehead. "You're not sick, right?" he smiled. Uncurling his body and hugged you. You were confused at first but soon gave in, wrapping your arms around him and tapping his back softly. 

"Thank you." he whispered.

You want to bring him and Azumi to your life adventure, they would love Johann. And of course, the boy you adore. You may not know his name but you know his life and story. After you rescue Azumi, you'll find him and continue your life with him. You'll teach him things he don't know in this world. 

That way, you have new friends and protect them. Unlike what you did to your past families. You failed before, but you're not gonna fail this time.

But the pain that pierced your chest reminded that you again, failed. Tears run down to your cheeks as you saw blood rushing out Izumi's mouth. You really think everything will be okay. But the sharp thing you saw that pierced your chest and Izumi's made you mad at yourself. You shouldn't lowered your guard.

Izumi smiled, lifting his hands to reach for your cheeks, "Don't forget me... please." then he exhaled his last breath. 

It happened really fast. One second you were rescuing him, then you walked to this tree and now... 

Just like him... Izumi left just like that.
