Dear Future Me,
Today was amazing!
It started off like any other day. I was avoiding Peter and turned around but when I did I bumped into the new kid, Steven. It was embarrassing at first. I knocked his books and myself onto the floor.
Scurrying to pick up our books I didn't even look at him. I was about to hand him his stuff when I noticed he was getting my books off the floor. Steven looked over at me and smiled. We just looked at each other for a few seconds before he said "Hi".
My stomach was suddenly the home of a hundred butterflies. He gave me my books and I gave him his. When I turned around and started to walk away he ran up to me and we started talking. I found out that we have the English and lunch together.
I think I might like Steven. He was so sweet and funny it just drove me crazy.
Of course when I got home Peter tried to talk to me again. He even brought up Steven, saying that he doesn't approve. Honestly he has no say in who I'm friends with or who I crush on. I just ignored him - like always- and ran up here and started writing.
Well, now that I've told you about my crush I can get to the important stuff. My story is coming on swimmingly. I can't wait to finish it and turn it in to the judges.
I'm having Jenna go over it before I write the final draft. Jenna was suppose to give me hers to read but she hasn't finished it yet. Guess I'll just read it later.
