Chapter 1

The cold brezze pushed your long hair aside while your eyes were focused on your sketches.

You looked in the sky to notice the sunset, the night is falling and it's getting late.

Y/n:,,Hyun. Let's go."

Your dog stood up and walked beside your leg towards home, you smilled softly at him.

Y/n:,,Hello mom.", you said while putting off your shoes.

Mom:,,Welcome.", responded your mother while making the dinner in the kitchen.

The whole house smelled delicious, it reminded you of your childhood. Where you used to come back home while playing with Lisa, your best childhood friend, all day outside in the park.

Y/n:,,Hyun, bed."

Your dog walked into his bed and laid his head down while you were putting on your slippers and walking towards the kitchen where your mom was making dinner.

Hopefully she wouldn't be irritated this time when I show her the new sketches I made.

While you were on your way to kitchen thinking if you're gonna be hurt from your mothers comments that she always spoke while you showed her the sketches, you heard a door bell.

Hyun immediately stood up and began to bark at the door.

You turned back to the door and walked to them, when you opened it you saw Lisa.

,,I just came over to tell you that I'll go on a vacation now and to hug you", said Lisa while hugging you.

Y/n:,,What are you talking about, I'm confused."

Lisa:,,I'm going to Japan. In Tokyo!", said Lisa while screaming in happiness and holding both of your hands.

Ugh... this girl never changes. She's always been that outgoing, adrenaline junkie type.

Y/n:,,You know that's like 2 hours from Daejeon with plane, right?"

,,It's only 2 hours, it's not like I'll die.",said Lisa care-free.

Y/n:,,I hate planes. Well be safe sweetie and have fun." You hugged her and she returned the hug.

She wawed goodbye and you closed the door, feeling sad knowing you won't be able to spend time with anyone else.

Y/n:,,Lisa went to Tokyo mom.", you said while walking into the kitchen.

Mom:,,I heard it."

Here she goes again, she never acts like this when Lisa is here to visit me. Maybe if I change the subject, she will calm down.

Y/n:,,So, I made new sketches mom."

Mom:,,And?"

You took the sketchbook and showed it to her when suddenly the oil splashed and it went all over the sketches, smearing all the sketches you made proudly.

Mom:,,Can't you see I'm cooking?!", said your mother while screaming at you for showing her your sketches.

Y/n:,,I just wanted to show y-", she interrupted you while she spoke loudly.

,,Go to your room and put that sketchbook away before I do!"

Your eyes started to fill up with tears so you closed the sketch book and walked upstairs into your room.

You sat on the bed, that's when Hyun came and laid beside you with his head on your lap.

Y/n:,,At least you're here for me Hyun, Lisa traveled away with her parents."

Come to think about it, I never went on a vacation with my mom since I moved here with her and my brother 2 years ago.

You laid down and fell asleep with tears, after 10 minutes you could feel someone covering you with a blanket and a calmed voice saying:

,,Shh Hyun you'll wake y/n up. Come with me."

It was the caring voice from your older brother, Dae-jung.
