Chapter 20

Time: 03:00am

You opened the door because your throat was dry, so you walked downstairs into the kitchen.

A sudden sound catched your attention, it came out of Jungkooks room.

,,Eonjejjeumilkka dasi geudael majuhandamyeon. Nuneul bogo malhallaeyo, Bogo sipeosseoyo."

When I see you again? I missed you?

You slowly turned around, the moonlight lighted up the hallway and the rain was pouring.

The voice was slowly getting quiter while you walked downstairs, you wanted to listen more but couldn't.

When you drank water, you filled up the cup and were on your way back to the room.

Suddenly you bumped into someone and spilled the water over the person, yourself and the floor.

Jk:,,Oh my god, are you ok y/n?", said Jungkook in a shocking whisper.

You nodded and smiled at him, you noticed that his eyes were sparkling in the moonlight.

Y/n:,,I'll get another glass of water, sleep well kookie."

As you turned around, Jungkook grabbed your hand.

,,Don't go.", said Jungkook in Korean.

You looked behind you, he was almost crying so you turned around and walked into his room.

Y/n:,,What's wrong jungkook?"

Jungkook looked down and then back to you while saying: ,,I still love you, y/n..."

Y/n:,,I'm sorry jungkook... But I love taehyung..."

With that he opened the door and stepped aside, he still looked down.

Jk:,,You may leave now."

Y/n:,,Jungkook please don't do it this way... *sniff*"

He looked up to you, his face was all wet from tears. You walked up to him and hugged him without getting one in return, then took his hand in yours.

,,Maybe in another life, Jungkook. But not in this, I'm sorry...", you said in Korean.

With that you walked into your room and laid on your bed, you looked over to Taehyungs bed.

He's still sleeping, that's good.

You covered yourself with the blanket, you cried because you know you hurted Jungkook.

He'll never forgive me...

Suddenly you got a call, it was Lisa.

Y/n:,,Yes?"

Lisa:,,Dae-Jung! H- He got arrested!"

You immediately jumped out of your bed, Taehyung immediately woke up and asked you what was wrong.

Y/n:,,My brother got arrested..."

Both of you immediately drove to the prison in Seoul, you then saw the familiar face.

,,Y/n!", said your mother while being in panic.

Y/n:,,What happened?!"

Mom:,,Your dumb brother stole a car from someone and killed him."

Thats where he got the car from...
I can't believe it.

,,Are you his relatives?", said a police officer that opened the door and held some papers.

Y/n:,,Yes!"

You holded Taehyungs hand tightly, your hands were cold and shaking.

PO:,,Dae-Jung commited crime by murdering a person and stealing their car. Tommorow will be the judging so be prepared, we'll keep him here until tommorow."

,,Y/n,you can get him out? Tell me you can! You have the money right?", said your mom in panic.

,,Ma'am, according to the law a man is life senteced for a murder and stealing.", said the police officer while standing up.

,,Impossible!", said your mother while slamming her hands on the table.

Taehyung looked to your mother, you twitched by her slamming.

,,We'll see you tommorow.", said Taehyung while grabbing your hand and pulling you outside of the police station.

Flashback in Dorm

Y/n:,,So he's going to be life sentenced..."

Taebyung was petting your head while you were laying on his chest, listening to his heart beat.

V:,,The judge will decide babe. We have to wait until tomorrow, don't be sure about it. "

You looked up to him and smiled, he kissed you and you turned around so he hugged you from behind.

,,I'll always be with you no matter what happens or what your decisions are baby.", were the last words you heard from Taehyung in Korean before falling asleep.

,,Dae-Jung, a convicted murder suspect, is given a life sentence!", said the judge and slammed his gavel.

You can hear your mom's crying, Taehyung sighing and others people conversations that were blurry to your ears.

V:,,Let's go babe.", said V in Korean.

You ran to your brother and hugged him. He only leaned his head on yours unable to hug your becuase of his hands handcuffed behind his back.

,,I love you and will always watch out for you, sis."

Those words broke your heart in pieces, you could feel your warm tears rolling down your face.

Dae-Jung:,,Watch out for my little sister, Taehyung..."

With that the policemans took him away, the last thing you saw from your brother was his face.

He turned back around and looked at you, he said a muting sorry with a smile.

Your knees touched the ground, Taehyung quickly picked you up and grabbed you by your waist with his left arm.

V:,,Walk slowly..."

You nodded and followed others while Taehyung was holding you.

Flashback 2 days later

Jk:,,Hey. I hope your doing fine, I really haven't talked to you in a long time and I feel really bad for it. Hopefully you're not mad at me or something, i would understand if you are, I still hope you remember this."

Jungkook then smiled, kneeled with one knee on the ground and took something out of this pocket.

Jk:,,You remember this? This is what you gave me a long time ago, anyways I didn't knew which flowers you like so I took the once that remind me of you.", said Jungkook while placing the necklace with the flowers on Dae-Jungs grave.

Jk:,,See you up there."

With that he turned around and sat in his car. He leaned his head on the steering wheel and a small tear fell on his pants.

,,It wasn't supposed to end like this Dae-Jung. It was just a stupid little fucking dance mistake and a stupid car..."

He turned on the engine and drove back into the dorm to find you on the sofa sleeping.

Jk:,,Y/n, wake up and lay in your room."

You woke up and rubbed your eyes to remove the blurness in your eyes.

Jungkook then picked you up in bride style and went into your room to put you on Taehyungs bed.

,,At least I still have another you, Dae-Jung.", said Jungkook while stroking your head lightly and smiling.
