Part 14 : Nash

Echo & Nash - Friday Dec. 6th @ 11pm

Nash's POV

After dinner was over, we stopped by a Redbox to get a movie. Echo said "I love all of the Nicholas Sparks books. Can we rent 'The Best of Me'?"

"Anything for you Sexy." I wrapped my arms around her waist from behind, resting my chin on her shoulder. She tapped away at the machine to select the movie. I pulled out my credit card, swiping the card before the movie spit out of the machine. I pulled her back to the car by the hand.

When we got back to their apartment, we grabbed our bags out of the trunk space and brought them up to the apartment. We just dropped out stuff in the corner of the living room after entering. This was the weirdest part of coming for the weekend.

Ryder and I were invited to stay, but Boston wasn't invited. Yes, each of us have shared a bed with one of the girls but nothing happened with any of them. Well a little kissing and maybe some petting but nothing really happened.

Now, we have been out on our date, we had a fairly enjoyable time, minus the Chad incident at the bowling alley, and we came back to the apartment to watch a movie then go to sleep. It has made for a bit of awkward uncomfortableness. I guess it is one thing to have a spontaneous sleepover and another to have a planned sleepover.

I can see Echo has grown quiet and is acting a bit nervous. She went into the kitchen to get a drink. I don't want her to be nervous around me. She is my Sexy girl.

"So are we watching the movie or not?" Boston questioned. He was sitting on one end of the couch with Rayne snuggled into his side. Ryder was on the other side of the couch with Willow on his lap. I stood near the kitchen waiting for Echo.

When she came back out to the living area I grabbed her hand and pulled her to the armchair. As I sat I pulled her from around the waist to sit on my lap. I kissed her temple and ran soothing circles on her bicep. Boston pushed play on the remote and the movie began.

The movie was fine but definitely a chick flick. There weren't any fight scenes or anything to keep my attention. Just another love story. The lead guy dies but gives the Best of himself by saving the lead girls dying child. Echo and Willow were crying which gave us an excuse to pull them in tight for a reassuring boyfriend hug. The kind that says, 'I am here for you and even though you are crying, you are the most beautiful girl I know'.

Bet you didn't know a boyfriend hug could say all of that, did you? It's something you have to learn when you first start dating girls. Certain hugs say certain things and you cannot give a girl a 'I love the way you feel in my arms and I want to take off your clothes' hug when she is mad and wants an 'I'm sorry for being a jerk' hug. As long as we learn the types of hugs to give and don't screw up the timing of that hug, we are golden!

Notoriously though, we, from the male species, get our signals crossed, and often. We give the wrong hug or our timing is just off and that's when we end up in trouble and clueless to where we went wrong. When it goes wrong we tend to beg and plead and start spilling all our secrets.

Now it is 11pm and Echo is yawning, Willow is asleep and Boston and Rayne look like they want some privacy. "Which room is Willow's so I can put her to bed?" Ryder asked the other girls.

"Come this way." Echo motioned as she got up from my lap. But she reached back grabbing my hand. I hurriedly followed her pull on my hand, for me to stay with her. Echo opened Willow's door and turned on the light. Ryder carried her in and I turned away from them to look at My Sexy.
