Recap:

His hand caught my ankle and pulled me to him and once again I was pinned down underneath him, “Get off me.” shouted at him, how could Eddie, Mr. Walsh, or Miles not help me?

He didn’t seem to listen to my request as he proceed to reach for my belt, and then just in a split second he was pulled off me, I looked next to me to see him lying unconscious.

I saw a shadow standing over me and I looked up to see the most amazing sight that made me sigh with relief; beautiful brown eyes stared down at me with a face full of concern.

“It’s going to be ok, Zoe. I promise.” Tate whispered softly while picking me up and cradling me to his chest while I sobbed in to his t-shirt. At that moment I believed him. I knew once I was with Tate I would be safe and that everything would be alright now because Tate saved me and I was now in the presence of his warmth….

9 Years Later:

They do say that laughter is the best medicine, which I truly believe is.

I do have to say that I did have a complicated last few years but the end result always worked out for the best. The thing with my ‘dad’ is now over and done with him is now in jail for the rest of his life…

The sun is beating down on me and the sky is cloudless, it is a good day.

We are having a family barbeque, and I’m resting while sipping on my lemonade when his amazing brown eyes found mine, I gave him a huge grin as he made his way over to me. I have the most amazing husband in the world and I wouldn’t wish for anything else.

Seeing his brown hair and his big brown eyes shining with love for me, made me so happy and warm inside that I had the same butterflies just like the day I first met him, his smile made me go all fuzzy inside and I felt like the happiest woman in the world.

As he reached me he bent down and pressed his lips to my forehead, “hey baby” He whispered while grinning at me.

“Hi” I whispered back not trying to keep the smile off my lips.

He grabbed a chair and pulled it up next to mine, he slumped down and I lay my head on his chest as he rubbed my stomach gently, “How is my two favourite girls in the whole entire world?” He whispered quietly while laying butterfly kisses on my stomach.

“Good, she is kicking a lot today.” I mumbled while studying my swollen stomach.

His big brown eyes stared at me with nothing but love shining in his eyes, “Your amazing Zoe, I hope you know that.”

I smiled and pecked him lightly on the lips, how did I get so lucky?

“DADDY, MOMMY, look what I can do?” I heard a little child scream.

I turned to see my little angel running towards me; his brown hair fell over his sparkling green eyes as he ran as fast as he could to us. When he reached us, he had a tennis ball grasped tightly in his hand. His mouth pulled up to form a huge grin.

“Look” He shouted at us. I felt Tate’s chest rumble underneath my head as he chuckled. He threw the ball up in the air and caught it again; he looked at us with a pride written all over his features.
