Ashton
The party came around faster then I was expecting. Before I knew it I was picking up Ryder and Hayden from their house.
I found it funny how the one that looked uncomfortable out of the duo was Hayden. You would have thought that the sophomore, who had been to barely any parties, would be uncomfortable; instead he looked extremely excited. Then there was Hayden, in a white dress and tights, who looked almost hesitant. I almost wanted to laugh.
I couldn't deny the fact that she looked even more like one of us in it. Her hair was easily the color of the dress and a white was a Hunter color, opposite of the Fallen which was black. It was kind of a ying and yang effect.
The two teenagers climbed into the back of my car and I asked, "What did you tell Mia?"
"I said Hayden was taking me to a friends to study and then she was going to go shopping," Ryder grinned.
"She actually believed that?" I couldn't deny my shock.
"Yeah," Hayden says, "and I hope she believed it. I don't want her hating me more than she already does."
"She doesn't hate you," Ryder says. "she just has to get to know you."
Hayden sighs, "I hope that is soon or else I don't know where I'm going to sleep."
"Why would you have to worry about where you slept?" I ask.
"Because we share a room."
I cringe, "I could see where that is a problem."
I heard Hayden sigh next to me as I round the corner into Colton's neighborhood. Huge mansion-like houses lined the street. It amazed me that people could actually live in a house that big. You could hear the party from a block away. Cars were lined on the street a little further away and I parked behind them.
"Some party," I heard Hayden say in awe from the passenger seat. This had to be her first party, like Ryder.
I exit the car and open the door for Hayden and Ryder. Once Ryder exits I walk besides Hayden and ask her the question on my mind.
"No," she says, but she wasn't a very good liar.
I raise my eyebrow.
"Okay, maybe," she gives in. I laugh.
"Just follow my lead," I tell her and she smiles appreciatively.
"Thank you," she murmurs and we make our way into the craziest party I have ever seen.
