I text into the pack group chat. Ethan and Aiden should have been here 15 minutes ago!
Look behind you!
Aiden texts. I turn and look up to see them.
"What took you so long?" I ask and stand over them.
"Caught in traffic!" Aiden lies.
"I dont even want to know the truth!" I roll my eyes and he laughs. Its been 3 months since i risked my life for Derek again. I havent smiled since then. Stiles is getting worried but i just cant seem to bring myself to smiles! I would if i could but i just dont have anything to smile about. We also came up with a pack name! The Blood Moons! They had never heard of a blood moon before! I had to explain it to them.
"Hey Max!" Stiles wraps his arm around my waist.
"Hey babe!" I say and kiss his forehead.
"How was tutoring last night?" He asks.
"Fine i guess. I learned a good bit last night!" I shrug and put my hand in his back pocket. We walk down the corridor to the P.E locker room. I look down at Stiles as he takes off his shirt and puts on a half zip.
"Sexy!" I say and kiss his forehead. I walk over to my locker and pull it open. I pull my shirt off and grab a vest from my locker. I carry it in my hand as i walk over to grab my lacrosse stick.
"Hale!" Coach calls. I turn around revealing my packs symbol tattooed on the left side of my chest.
"Yes coach?" I look at him.
"I... uh... i... put on a shirt!" He says.
"Yes coach!" I nod and pull my vest over my head. Stiles looks back at me and i wink at him. He blushes and i nod. I walk out to the lacrosse pitch.
"Max!" I hear the booming voice of my big brother.
"Here we go again!" I roll my eyes and turn to face him.
"Come with me! Stiles and Scott are already there!" He says.
"Boys!" I call out and the twins are quick to my side.
"Come!" I say and they follow me and Derek. We go to the woods and i sit down.
"What?" I ask.
"There is something wrong in Beacon Hills!" Scott says.
"Whats new!" I roll my eyes.
"We tried to keep it a secret from you for as long as we could!" Ethan says. I turn and look at him.
"You knew about this?" I ask.
"They are coming for you next!" Derek says.
"Remember the party? The things that attacked us?" Scott asks.
"Yeah but they died!" I say and look at Derek.
"They didnt... the just went away because of the sun!" I groan and tug at my hair.
"They wont kill you unless you are the nogitsune!" Aiden says.
"An evil fox spirit? Really?" I whine.
"You arent it!" Derek says.
"How can you be so sure! I mean... im not like you guys! My first reaction is to kill the enemies! Yours is to fight and save! I mean... i could be! Maybe i am! Im going to be killed oh my god!" I stand up and pace back and forth.
"Max! Max calm down!" Derek says.
"Dont tell me to calm down! Im going to die!" I yell and tug at my hair.
