The Forgotten Hale

Chapter Three

I shoot up in the hospital bed and vomit up something. Its black and has white balls in it. I dizzily look down at it.

"Max!" I hear the familiar annoying squeak. I look up and see her.

"Luna?" I ask. She nods and comes over to me.

"Im sorry! I was so terrible to you! I should have been nicer!" I explain.

"Your brother already told me everything!" She smiles. I put my hand on her cheek and look at her. I smile. It really is her. She squeaks in excitement.

"Your smile is so adorable!" She squeals.

"I missed you!" I tell her.

"I know! Good news! Im staying for a whole week!" She smiles.

"Thats great!" I smile and hug her. Peter walks into the room.

"Peter!" I smile. He has a look of shock on his face and i raise an eyebrow. I look in the mirror and relise. Ew. Im so thin! I am as white as paper and i look dead. I actually look dead. Then i relise...

"Shit!" I fold my arms over my chest.

"What is it?" Luna asks.

"Nothing!" I say put i look around the room frantically.

"Max!" Peter says.

"One second!" I open the drawers and presses trying to find my binder.

"Max!" Peter repeats.

"What?" I turn around. He is holing up my binder but it is stained with blood and cut in half. I stare at it in disbelief.

"Wh- wh- why would someone do that?" I ask fighting back tears.

"Lily did it!" He says and looks down at the floor. I feel nauseous.

"Who's Lily?" Luna asks.

"Peter!" I growl.

"She did though!" He says.

"Who is Lilyyyy!?" Luna asks again.

"I was! I was Lily!" I yell and drop to the floor, covering my eyes with my hands. I hate this! I spent so much money on that! Now its destroyed! I want to scream.

"Wait so you are not a boy?" She steps away.

"I am a boy!" I say.

"But... you were Lily annd thats a girls name!" She says.

"Luna! I am a boy!" I say.

"No! You... you're a girl!" She says and looks at Peter. I stand up.

"No! Im a boy! My name is Max!" I say.

"You are a girl! You are just a liar!" She shouts and runs out. I stand their in shock. There is no stopping it now. I can feel the hot tears running down my cheeks as i experience Trasphobia for the first time. I cant move or speek. I just stand there, staring at the door as hot tears roll down my face. Derek walks in and takes one look at the scene infront of him.

"What happened?" Derek asks.

"Max has just had his first encounter with trasphobia!" Peter says and i look over at them.

"Im not a boy! Ill never be a boy! Im just a girl playing dress up!" I say and walk out to the hall. I am in a hospital gown so its very strange. I go to the boys bathroom and lock the door. I cant beleive what just happened. I let out a loud sob and one of the stall doors opens. I look up to see a boy, around my age, he has brown hair and brown eyes. He is... sort of adorable i guess. He is definitely my type! He looks at me and i wipe my eyes.
