" HELP ! SOMEBODY HELP! "
Emersion's head snaps up at the sound of the voice " Caleb " she whispers
" What did you say Kid " Mike asks
" Caleb " she yells, running off in the direction of his voice, entering a room that has a light orangey yellow tinge to it
" Emmy is that you, holy shit " he sighs relief as he looks at her. Blood coating her face and teeth. He quickly pulls her into a hug muttering into her hair " It's Wyman " pulling away from Caleb, Emersion looks down at the mans trapped leg.
" We gotta get him outta here, there's methane everywhere " Caleb voices to the group as they gather around Wyman " I found him here like this. He's hurt real bad, I can't get him out ". Everyone grabs Wyman, trying to pull him out. Emersion reaching her hand under Wyman trapped leg in hopes to push it out.
" Stop " Emersion yells " Wait ! Shit. His bone's caught on the metal " An exposure occurs behind erupting a fire to build. Debris flies everywhere, Caleb grabs Emersion, tucking her into his chest as he covers her from the explosion. " You're ok" he whispers to her, small whimpers and cries coming from her mouth, causing her body to shake in his hold
" Mike " come on Mr Jimmy calls out " We gotta edge this open, find something to open it with "
Turning around Mike reaches behind him finding a large pipe, and wedges it into the opening right beside Wyman leg.
" Pull " Mr Jimmy yells. Grunts, cries and screams are heard from both Wyman and the group as they pull. Another explosion goes off causing everyone to duck to the floor. Caleb again reaching for Emersion and securing her in front of him.
" Hey look at me " Emersion instructs Wyman " this is going to hurt like a bitch ok but I need you to breath for me okay, stay calm for a second. Wyman I need you to look at me okay, don't look down, look at me "
" No Emersion " Wyman shouts out to her. Carefully Emersion wedges her hand on Wyman legs and situates her fingers on his bone. Using all her strength she pushes the bone back in place. Screams erupt from Wyman as he hangs his head back. The group lift Wyman out, making there way to the bridge.
Coughs and wheezes erupts around the group as they stumble into the control room. Caleb never letting go of Emersion, having a hand securely on the smalls of her back.
" Who's on the bridge " Mr Jimmy demands, pushing of Mike and standing tall. Fleytas and Kuchta reply straight away. Emersion stares at Mr Vidrine fisting her hand and stepping forward ready to swing at the man. Caleb instantly wraps his hands around her waist pulling her to his chest. Wetness seeps into his hands causing a hissing noise from Emersion.
" Shit Emmy, are you hurt " Caleb stresses turning her around in his grip. Looking into her eyes he sees sadness well in them. Zoning out of the conversation going on with the others he drags her to the corner of the room. "Hey it's ok, I'm just going to lift up your shirt ok " nodding her head, Caleb slowly lifts her shirt over her stomach, showcasing the wound. His breath hitches in his throat as he gulps.
" I know " she whisper to him leaning slightly forward in his hold. " I'm going to do something and I don't want you to freak out ok" Caleb nods his head confused at what she is saying . Shuffling her feet forward Emersion leans her body weight on Caleb. Making him snake his arm around her waist careful of her wound. Foreheads now touching, lips inches apart both of their breaths mix together. Emersion smashes her lips onto his.
Emersion breaths in his scent and his soft lips hesitantly move against hers. Sinking into his touch and relaxing as a tingling sensation starts at the base of her spins. Methodically, Caleb opens his mouth, sliding his tongue across her bottom lip and in response Emersion opens her mouth allowing tongues to collide together. As if on instant Caleb's hands drift up to her jaw holding her head in place. Emersion's arm snake up to his neck tugging softly at his hair. Tilting her head slightly back Caleb deepens the kiss, his hands around her jaw tighten as their bodies press closer together. A shiver passes through Emersion as she grips Caleb shirt. Slowly pulling away a small giggle is heard from her.
" Wow did that really just happen " Caleb breaths out. Tightening his grip on her
" Yeah it did " Emersion whispers
" I've been waiting to do that for a while " he says. A smile tugging at the corner of his lips. As he smiles at her, quickly giving her a peck on the lips
