I wish

Raven opens her eyes when she felt herself in Octavia's dream which was a galaxy like environment, she walked around trying to find Octavia which wasn't that hard because she found her in matter of seconds. Raven narrowed her eyes to see what she's seeing which was a crying Octavia hugging her knees and Raven walks up to her.

"Hey little owl." Raven said and was surprised when Octavia jumps on her arms hugging her. Raven wasn't much of a hugger but this little owl made her feel some emotions that she had tried to control but was hard for her to do.

"What's wrong?" Raven asked her and Octavia looks at her with a frown. "Mom and dad are fighting again." She said and Raven looks at her not knowing what to say.

"What's wrong this time?" Raven asked again and she listen to Octavia.

"My mother wants me... wants me to, I don't know how she said it but my dad said I was still to young for that." Octavia said with a shrug and Raven nodded.

'Don't tell me she wanted her daughter to be married off at this age? She's like 11 still and she wants her to be married off! Now I get why the dad was mad.' Raven thought with a glare and changed topics.

"Want to see some magic?" She asked Octavia which she nods with a smile. Raven puts Octavia down and stood some steps away from her for safety measures.

Raven opens her arms wide open letting out a Raven from her shadows and makes it play with Octavia which the girl laughs and touched it's head.

They both were just talking about anything really, Octavia sometimes would asked about the facility and where it was. Raven didn't give her the location already knowing what she's trying to do.

"I won't tell you where it is." Raven said bluntly and no room for discussion but Octavia wasn't having it, she could see how much pain she was in and wanted to help her.

"Why not? If I go to the human world, I could get you free and live with my dad and me." She argued making her hands into fist standing in front of Raven who was still sitting on the floor, Raven puts her hands on her shoulders.

"Because I said so! I don't want you getting captured by this fuckers and get the same treatment like I got, besides one day and I mean when I get strong I will run away but I just want to wait for the perfect moment." Raven said and what she didn't know is that two demons would save her from her own torture and Hell.

Octavia looks down sadly and nods but she hugs Raven with a small tear.

"I wish you were my mother." Octavia said and shocked Raven. "You don't mean that, I'm sure your mom really cares about you." Raven said.

Octavia shakes her head and looks at her with a small frown but Raven could see the anger in her eyes.

"Yes I do! If you were my mother I'm sure you wouldn't treat my dad so bad that he would sleep with some other demon! Or pick fights with him about some stupid topic or get her own daughter to ball to meet potential suitors. She doesn't even care what I want, she doesn't even treat me as her daughter and has the imps take care of me instead of her." She rants about her mother.

"While you keep me safe from my nightmares, trying to keep me safe from the imps and the evil humans from the other side. I don't know why but I feel safe when I'm around you and know you won't ever hurt me." Octavia said with smalls tears and hugs Raven who has been quite.

Raven didn't know what to say, sure she likes Octavia and all that but she wasn't sure how to feel about this declaration from the little owl.

"I'm happy that you think I'm good for you but give your mother a chance, it may surprise you that people can change for the better. Remember, that if anything happens you know how to contact me, besides I'm pretty sure that your dad would like me." Raven said and how wrong she was was.

Octavia looks at her confused.

"Why not?" She asks her and Raven gives her a small smile. "Because nobody can handle me and I'm stealing his daughters attention from him." Raven said with smirk making Octavia laugh.

"Do the bad guys let you out or do anything?" Octavia asks and Raven hums with a thought.

"The only thing they would let me do is decorate my cage and get some tea that I had tasted a long time ago by a nice scientist." Raven said.

"What happened to them?" Octavia asked and Raven shrugs. "Don't know but I have a feeling that they were killed for trying to leak to the public about the mistreatment of an innocent kid or that they let me out to see the night, for the first time as a kid I saw the stars and moon which they are my favorite now." Raven said seeing the starts in Octavia's dream world.

That's when she saw a shooting star passed by them making Octavia smile.

"Wish for something? I heard from my dad they come true if you close your eyes and wish." Octavia said making Raven smile a little.

She looks at the star that was twinkling and closed her eyes once she saw that another shooting star pass by.

"What did you wish for? I wished for you to meet my dad one day or be free." Octavia said making Raven shake her head.

"Would you look at that, now that will never happen if you say what you wish for." Raven said with a small smirk and watch as Octavia panics only to frown when she saw Raven smirking.

"Not funny." She said crossing her arms and Raven shrugs. "It was to me." Raven said and sighs when Octavia waited for her to tell the wish.

"I want to watch the scum of the world struggle to climb up the hill of betterment! Only to trip, and tumble down to the fiery pit of failure but I also wish to have the people working in the facility death. Either one is good for me." Raven said going from dark look on her face to a normal one. Octavia instead of having a fear look in her face she has an admiration look at Raven's wish.

"Wow! I hope it does come true." Octavia said said sitting beside her watching the space with a smile and Raven brings her hand to her head shaking her hair playfully.

"Me too little owl, me too." Raven said looking at the starts that have started to form.

'I wish to be free and find out more about my father.' Raven thought while enjoying the small freedom she had.

Fun fact : Octavia had wished for her dad to be happy and that Raven was saved by her dad.
