The Maid

Chapter One

I watch out the window as we pass all of the gigantic houses. They're so pretty, but it's obvious they're only for the richest of people. I hate the fact that you can only get good things if you can afford them.

We finally arrive at the Ciallo's house, and I get out of the car. "Have fun kid. They're great people, I've know 'em for years" The driver shouts to me making me smile. I grab my suitcase and walk up the stairs, then knock on the door.

An old looking but really pretty lady opens the door. "Hi! You must be Kyrah. I'm Mrs.Ciallo. My husband is currently on a business trip, but you are welcome in of course!" She moves over and pulls me inside. I walk to the side of the room and stand there. I don't wanna be in anyone's way. This place is gonna be a lot harder to clean than I thought. The living room is huge, heck, all the rooms are huge. I hope the paycheck will be worth it.

Mrs.Ciallo finally comes back down the stairs but now she has two good looking people behind her. "Kyrah, this is Xsiyah and Janneson. Xsiyah, Janneson, this is Kyrah. Your new maid" Xsiyah looks up and smiles, then looks back down at her phone. Janneson didn't even bother looking up at me. I ignore it and smile anyway. "Nice to meet you guys" Mrs.Ciallo taps on Xsiyah's shoulder "yes?" She says looking up at her mom. "You're going to show Kyrah to her room"

Xsiyah slowly walks down the hall as I follow her, looking at the massive paintings they have on the walls. None of them are pretty, at least in my opinion, but they add a nice sort of touch to the place. Xsiyah stops walking and opens a door. "This is your room. Mine is the last room on the right. At the end of the hallway"

I walk inside the room and shut the door behind me. I go and look around since there, of course, is so much to look at. My room is huge, and it has it's own bathroom. (Which was almost half the size of the bedroom itself) I go to put up my things and make sure to keep it all organized. I barely fill the huge closet, though. It is so big, and I don't have a lot of clothes.

I walk down the stairs and go to the kitchen where Mrs.C is. "So, what should I do for you today ma'am?" She smiles at me and finishes her sketch. "Oh, nothing. I want you to get settled in today. No work" she goes to the fridge and grabs me and her water bottles then walks to sit at the dinner table. "Actually, I already have everything put up. Like my email said, I don't have a lot of stuff. It only took a few minutes" she looks up at me and seems really surprised for some reason. "Oh, well, that's fine. You can do what ever you want. If you wish to clean, you may. But you're free today." I smile at her and go up to my room. I just lay on my bed and listen to Spotify while I fall asleep.

I later wake up around 7 and go to fix me a sandwich. After finishing it, I go back to my room and get a nice shower. I've really been needing one. I get out and brush my hair and teeth, then put on an oversized shirt. I get in my bed and start scrolling through Pinterest. "Maybe tomorrow will be fun" I say before falling asleep.
