Y/ns pov:
After hours of surfing and swimming around rafe and I sat on the beach. Rafe carried me to the sand, we both sat down on a blanket. "Run away with me y/n..." Rafe looked at me with a serious look on his face.
"I kinda already did"i smile at him
"I mean we get away from outer banks and move to some far away to a country or a big city! Anything you want" he sounded very excited
"What about my family my friends your family!" I couldn't leave all of them behind
"We can figure this all out when we get there... And we can just finish this year and then you can finish school there where we are going!" He was right... He had everything planned out..
"I...i don't know..." I got up "i don't even know if i can leave outer banks.." I started feeling overwhelmed. "Y/n it's okay you don't have to answer right now!" He tried to take the pressure off
"Okay... Just let me think about it..." I smiled at him, "how about we go somewhere to eat?" I agreed
We went to this little diner by the beach, there were some people in there but not a lot. We sat down in a booth and a waitress came up to us, she had reddish hair with blue eyes and looked around 18 or 19.
"What can i get y'all" she asked with a southern accent, not gonna lie she was really pretty. "Just some fries for me" i wasn't really hungry
"A burger and fries" he said then handed her the menus, it seemed like he was trying to avoid eye contact with her
"Rafe do you know her or something?" I put my hand over his,
"i saw the way you looked at her and i just want you to know you are the prettiest girl ever so i am just trying to prove that i would rather look at you than her!" He made eye contact with me (i am sorry if that was cringy idk what else to type-)
"Awe... Rafe... That's really sweet..."i could feel my cheeks heating up, the food came. Rafe hurried and ate his burger like he hasn't ate in days, i laugh at the ketchup all of his face.
I took a picture and handed him a napkin.
(I am so sorry for not posting in like- 2 months but i just haven't had any ideas and I've been really busy with school but i am sorry this is stort)
