Deep sleep for Nina, with Pablo Neruda and Sputnik Sweetheart on the side.
It's a beautiful day. Warm clouds and windy rains. Nina scrubs a vase and coils strings of copper around another.
Nina prepares some egg and coffee for herself and a cold clean glass of orange juiced.
It's been a while since the opening of the Inn and Nina is immersed in transactional and innkeeping work. Some guests get lost on the way to the lodging, so navigational details become vital.
The Inn has been busy. Some of the guests favourite are her special brew of flower and tea, and warm bread straight out of the oven.
Nina has hired local help, and provides them with boarding and food along with wage as an incentive.
They also keep her regular company of course.
Nina has yet to complete decoration of the common room. She thinks a flower curtain, and some wooden furniture. Nina is particular on the chairs.
Cushy, soft, and some hardwood and metal. But this is going to take awhile. She has browsed through furniture stores in person and online. Though these do seem to be quite expensive. Maybe getting a craftsman to customize and build them for her would be more sensible.
