The date was September 11th, 2021. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today at Daeylah Schezolgafranioro (Dimensional)'s house. She was waiting for her girlfriend Vanessa Newton (VN02) to come over. All of a sudden, someone knocked on the door. Daeylah answered it. There was Vanessa.
Dimensional: Hey there, Vanessa.
VN02: Hi. Happy birthday.
Dimensional: It doesn't seem like a happy birthday to me.
VN02: What do you mean?
Dimensional: ...It's been 20 years...since the 9/11 attacks...
VN02: Oh yeah. It was all over the news. I was only a baby when those attacks happened.
Dimensional: Yeah...
VN02: Well, let's open this gift I got for you. Maybe that'll make you feel better.
She handed Daeylah a small box.
Dimensional: Ooh, what is it?
She opened the small box and inside was her favorite thing ever, a fidget spinner.
Dimensional: It's a fidget spinner! With my favorite colors on it!
VN02: Do you like it?
Dimensional: I love it! Thank you so much!
She kissed Vanessa on the cheek.
Dimensional: ...I'm sorry.
VN02: No, it's okay.
Dimensional: I can't wait to add this to my collection of fidget spinners. I have quite the collection, as you can see.
Vanessa saw rows and rows of fidget spinners, all in different colors.
VN02: Wow...
Dimensional: So...wanna talk to our friends on Zoom?
VN02: You read my mind.
And so, that's what Daeylah and Vanessa did.
