Kailyns P.O.V.
I was in my room gathering all my bags together when I hear a knock at my door, come in I say. "hey honey how's the packing going?" my mom says. "it's great, I'm really excited about the trip" "that's good I can't believe my baby is all grown up and flying to the other side of the world by herself" "don't get upset mom I'm going with Emma so it's all good" I say. "well I just want you to be safe, and have a good time" "ok night mom" "night sweetie sweet dreams"
Beep...beep...beep I woke up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock going off. I roll over to look at my clock. "shit it's 11:30, I was suppose to wake up an hour ago" I get up and get dressed quickly, I go downstairs and eat a bowl of cereal after I finish I go back upstairs slip my vans on and grab my bags. Once I get outside I open my trunk, and set all my bags in and go back inside to say my very last goodbyes before I go pickup Emma.
"have a safe flight, and be careful" my mom says. "ok I love you" "I love you too" she replies. I hug the rest of my family, and exchange a few I love you's, and I walk back out and start my car. I start backing out as soon as I got on the road. I plug my
phone in and start playing my music. I got to Emma's house, and I honk on the car horn. She came out with both her hands full, and I got out and unlocked the trunk and helped her put her stuff in.
I shut the trunk, and we both got back in my car. "so when does our flight leave?" she asks. "1:30" I reply. I start backing out and I drove to the airport, when we get to the airport, I park and get out and get my bags and Emma follows, and does the same when we entered the airport, I look around to find the nearest restroom "can you watch our stuff while I go to the bathroom?" "Yeah" she says, I walked straight to the restroom.
As I got back to Emma she looks at her phone and screams. "What is something wrong?" I ask. "it's freaking 1:28, and our flight takes off in two minutes" "fuck" I reply. As soon as she placed her phone in her pocket, we grab our stuff and literally ran to the plan entrance. "Last call for flight 135a to Sydney" we finally got to our flight and gave the attendant our tickets, and we board the plane.
As soon as we got on the plane we were directed to first class, just when we got settled a flight attendant had made some announcements over the intercom "okay ladies and gentlemen please take your seats, we will be taking off very shortly so please buckle up and sit back and enjoy your flight." the plane took off and I unbuckled and got my headphones out of my purse, and plugged them in and started listening to my music. After an hour of listening to music I decide to take a nap, I woke up to someone shouting to wake up.
I sit up and Emma is standing over me "WHAT?" I shout. "do you want anything to eat?" she asks. "SERIOUSLY YOU WOKE ME UP TO ASK ME THAT!" "Yeah" she laughs. "I'm fine" I reply. As soon as I answer her, she quickly gets up to go get something to eat. I decide to check my phone, it was already 9:30 p.m., I stood up and stretched and I went and asked the flight attendant where the bathroom was. "um excuse me ma'am where's the bathroom at?" I ask. "you go all the way down to the end of this aisle, and you'll see a door with a sign marked bathroom." she replies. "thank you" I say. "your welcome" she gladly smiles.
As I was walking down the aisle, I wasn't paying attention and I had ran into someone, we both fell down, and he spills his drink on me "shit" I say to myself and soon after we both got up and we locked eyes. I immediately knew who it was but I didn't show it. "I'm so so so sorry, I didn't mean to spill my drink on you" he says awkwardly. "it's fine besides I wasn't paying attention to where I was going" I reply. "hi I'm Luke by the way" he smiles. "I'm Kailyn" "I'm very sorry about what happened" "it's okay" I laugh. "well I need to get back to my seat" I say. "no cmon you can sit with me" he says. "I can't" I reply. "pleaseee" he pouts. "ok" I laugh.
