"ʏᴏᴜ ʟᴇᴀᴠᴇ ʙᴇᴄᴀᴜꜱᴇ ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ ᴄᴇʀᴛᴀɪɴ ᴏꜰ ᴡʜᴏ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ." 

ʙᴀꜱᴛɪʟʟᴇ

While I silently stroke Ban's hair, I can hear hushed whispers behind me. I know that my brother must be telling my mother and Wild everything about Ban.

"Shhh," I tell the Fox Sin of Greed when I hear him let out an odd sound and he clutches onto my back. "Shhh, we're together now. Everything is alright."

"Woah, you look just like Hawk!" I hear my brother suddenly exclaim. 

I turn my head around and giggle when I see Meliodas's mouth has dropped open and he can't help but just stare at the large pig.

"Oh yeah, that was what (Y/n) said when we first met," Wild says excitedly. "Hawk's my younger brother!"

"That's just creepy," Ban murmurs into my neck.

"Don't be cruel," I berate him but not that harshly. "Are you planning to get up any time soon?"

"Fine," Ban grumbles out as he begins to stand but he doesn't let me go and I let out a squeak when he fully stands up while my feet dangle off the ground.

"Put me down," I demand and my hands move away from his hair but to his broad chest to try and push him away.

"Not letting you go, remember?" the immortal croons as he walks towards the group.

 "Hello, Ban," my mother greets as Meliodas thrusts out a clenched fist which Ban bumps his own fist against.

"Hey," Ban says to her rather politely which shocks me.

"You don't seem that surprised that my mother is alive," I comment and then pout, still waiting for him to put me down.

"With all of the surprises we've been having for the past few days, I'm getting used to it," Ban answers and smiles down at me.

"You can put her down now, Ban," Meliodas says and points a finger at me.

"Yes, please do," I beg the Human and he reluctantly does so.

"So how come you knew where the exit was for this place?" my brother asks curiously as he places a finger on his chin.

"Uh," Ban says intelligently and in response, I whack him hard in the stomach.

"Bastard, you didn't even think about that, did you?" I growl as he sheepishly rubs the back of his head.

"Not really," he admits and starts ruffling his hair.

My mother chuckles politely behind her hand. "It is alright since I already know the way. Should we continue on our way?"

"Let's get going then!" Meliodas cries out as he jumps high in the air which gets giggles out of me and my mother.

"Mind if I ask you a few questions?" Ban asks as we all begin to walk and he grabs onto my hand.

"Ask who questions?" Meliodas and I ask at the same time.

"Your mother," Ban says and then turns to her, waiting for her response.

My mother blinks a couple of times before realising that Ban actually does intend to speak with her. "Of course."
