Ah, one of the oldest trolls in the wide internet, which was kinda brutal. Delete System32 was a hoax to trick inexperienced PC users. If you did delete the folder, your PC would... just not work! It was presented as if the folder is a virus or it slowed down your PC. The troll is from 4Chan and it appeared back in the 2000s!

People actually getting trolled in 4Chan
It spreaded on the /b/ board in 4Chan, and people were actually trolled (as seen on picture). A Windows safeguard prevented users from deleting the System32 folder so they needed to follow these instructions (PLEASE DON'T FOLLOW THESE YOU FUCKING IDIOTS): • Open Notepad • Type: @echo off del C:\\Windows\System32 • Save as a .bat file • Open the .bat file Oh you've done it? Congrats! You got a dead, unusable PC you fucking idiot! Now you can't jizz to your favorite porn of a busty collage girl getting clapped by some muslim dude that last year got killed by the ISIS for eating pork. I trolled you by saying to NOT try this trick. Con fucking gratulations. And if you did not follow this trick... are you a little pussy? What, are you afraid of losing your 5000 dollar gaming computer? Of course take this all as a joke. No need to cancel me for writing the fucking truth. Anyway, tho this troll seems like it was only for Windows users, there existed trolls for Mac and Linux users, tho they weren't as popular, but still used. These Linux, Ubuntu and Mac trolls were more popular on the /g/ board.
The System32 troll is an old classic that made people smarter and more aware of trolls like that. Remember kids, always do your research- IF YOU ARE A FUCKING PUSSY, DELETE THE SYSTEM32 FOLDER, DON'T MASTURBATE, BE A CHAD, GO OUTSIDE MORE FOR FUCK SAKES!
