Chapter 24

Day 36 - Monday, June 7th

Cho's POV

During the whole flight yesterday Jungkook didn't leave my hand. I was relieved I could help him be less nervous by staying at his side even though we were both very flustered about holding hands for a long time. We arrived in the late afternoon and decided to rest at our dorms. Today was really chill since the teachers knew we were tired so it was only simple classes we already had throughout the year. I wondered if I would do the year-end test or not since I'm leaving right after. I sighed thinking about how I'll miss living in such a good condition and I'll miss my new friends. 

During the break, I joined Rosé outside. She was reading on a bench in the gardens. I sat beside her quietly not wanting to disturb her. She looked up at me smiling hugely.

Rosé : Hey girl !

Cho : Hi ! Sorry if I disturbed your reading time !

Rosé : What ? Oh no, don't worry I was about to stop anyway. This book is getting boring hehe.

Cho : What's the name ?

Rosé : "The Fake Countess" 

Cho : Oh right I found it boring too at some point in the story.

We talked some more and soon got joined by an excited Lalisa.

Rosé : What's making you so happy ? Earlier this morning you were cursing over your classes, what happened ?

Lisa : Guess what ???

Cho : What ?

Lisa : Jisoo is again talking with Chris !!!

I giggled as Rosé pouted annoyed. Jisoo has been getting close to her crush to our great pleasure. 

Rosé : She isn't hanging out with us...

She pouted jokingly again and I chuckled while Lisa gently punched the girl's shoulder.

I'm glad I've met these girls.

Day 37 - Tuesday, June 8th

Today the school decided to bring the Christian students to churches while the other religions went to their temples etc... I was part of the Christians and with Rosé, we talked inside the bus. Roseanne was such a good person and I was glad I met her. Once at the church, we all exited the bus and began to visit. I got startled feeling someone put their weight on my shoulders. I turned to look at them and saw it was the prince.

Cho : Hey ! You're heavy !

Jungkook*smiles*: I know.

I rolled my eyes but smiled at his childishness. We sat together inside the church and the teachers let us do what we wanted, whether it was praying, or visiting the church.

Jungkook : You know, I'm not that of a Christian believer. 

I turned my head towards him with a raised eyebrow.

Cho : Then why did you come ?

Jungkook : I wanted to watch over you.

The boy shyly smiled and I blushed quickly drifting my gaze away.

For the whole visit of the church, Jungkook stayed by my side, and now we were all sitting and praying. I closed my eyes, breathing in and out, and slowly started to pray.
