Chapter 31

Cho's POV

I hugged my knees, sitting on the green grass, waiting for someone. What have I done ? I heard footsteps approaching and looked up to see the one I called. Lisa's worried eyes met mine and she quickly came to sit by my side.

Lisa : Why are you crying ?? What happened ??

I told her everything that happened earlier with Jungkook. I shared my thoughts and fears about it while she comforted me.

Cho : I just want to leave before hurting more people I love...

Lisa : I understand... I would've left a long time ago if I were you. But, let's think about what would a relationship with Jungkook bring to you !

Cho : Like what ?

Lisa : It would be difficult, probably, but at least you wouldn't have to live such a hard life ! It would make your life easier !

Cho : I don't want to live while getting advantage of Jungkook's status ! That's the thing he fears the most ! And you know I'm not the type to do that !

Lisa : Yeah sorry... That's the only thing I could think about...

Silence took place between us and I decided to reveal my plan to Lisa.

Cho : You know I don't pass the exams so I am on vacation this Friday after classes ?

Lisa : Yeah ?

Cho : But I'm never coming back. 

Lisa : Oh...

Cho : Please don't tell anybody, I'll tell Namjoon and the girls about it. But please, please, don't tell Jungkook about it.

She nodded and I sighed before wiping the tears off my cheeks. I need to be strong. After all, I am here for only three more days. It's going to be fine... I just have to ignore him...




Day 58 - Wednesday, June 29th

I fell for Jungkook within a month and a half and apparently he also caught feelings for me. But I might say it's really bad. It's bad because I can't share a future with him. I can't wish for anything in our situation. He doesn't even know the truth of my presence here. And I can't imagine his reaction.

I decided to ignore him for the last 3 days so it won't be as difficult to leave.

It was lunchtime and, after eating with my friends, I decided to go talk to Namjoon in private. We went a bit away from the others in the gardens.

Namjoon : What did you want to talk about ??

Cho : I just wanted to thank you for everything you've done to help me.

Namjoon : It's normal, we're friends ! But does it mean you're leaving ?

Cho : Yeah I'll leave this school forever Friday evening.

Namjoon : Don't forget to say goodbye before leaving or I'll go after you in Seoul !

I chuckled and gave him a quick hug. I'm glad I've made friends here.

Day 59 - Thursday, June 30th

I sat in our dorm with the girls in front of me. Lisa was already aware of me leaving but the other two had no idea. Roseanne and Jisoo looked at me in wonder while I sat across them.
