Yuzuru is back in Toronto for training after a series of ice shows in Japan. Off season is barely over and he already completed his two new programs to his contentment. To be honest, there's no more pressure for the 27 year old ice skating legend as he already achieved all his career goals and he is just competing for the sake of his love for his sport. He is more than excited to show fanyus his self-choreographed programs with new jump combinations that no single skater has ever done before. His coaches helped him out and he thinks it is better for them to plan the programme in person rather than through video calls since the pandemic has subsided.

It is a sunny Friday morning in Toronto, great weather to feel the warmth of the sun to his skin, a contrast to the coldness brought to him by ice. He decided that he will be a normal person today. It is now time to unwind and give time to his other passion - baseball. He already bought the tickets weeks prior for less hassle. He rode public transportation, something he has never done for sometime since he can't do it back in Japan and he usually ride private car to TCC. He left early so he can watch players warming up or maybe check memorabilia in the team store. Good move, because the stadium is PACK!

He casually strut towards his seat in Roger's Centre, his stadium food in hand. He's so confident that he will just blend in the crowd as he is 'not that' famous in Canada. Yes he wore a facemask but that's more for protection not necessarily for disguise, though he's expensive custom monitors in his ears will give it away anyway. Guess he underestimated his popularity.

Wrong move.

It is Blue Jays vs. Angels. Two Japanese pitchers will face each other - Yu Darvish and Shohei Ohtani. Yu was just recently traded to Blue Jays. Of course many Japanese fans will come and Japanese media will not miss it for the world.

He sat quietly while watching anything that catches his attention in the field, not knowing that he catches some attention himself from the crowd.

People are so hyped up when they saw Shohei and Yu started to warm up to get ready for their pitching assignments. He cheered for each of them, like how he cheered his team mates during a World Team Trophy competition. He's so extra lol! I mean how can you cheer for two people in opposing team... in different dugouts at the same time???

Some of his seatmates seems annoyed at him and giving him, a make-up-your-mind look like how they would react if they see a person wearing a blue jay jersey and an Angel cap at the same time

Some of his seatmates seems annoyed at him and giving him, a make-up-your-mind look like how they would react if they see a person wearing a blue jay jersey and an Angel cap at the same time. A guy seating a seat above him even said "Oh, another casual spotted". Another one said "IKR, like, it seems he doesn't even know the rules of the game and just watch for certain players, not because of the sport". "I bet he haven't even throw a baseball before, with that stick of an arm?" They laugh at him like it's the only fun thing to do at that time. Yuzuru could barely hear them, but whatever.

Of course he's proud to all the Japanese players in the field. One would think that Yuzuru will fully support Blue Jays by default as he is residing in Toronto - false! He'll take a red uniform any day of the week regardless of the team it represent. But let's be honest, one of the players in red is Shohei - let's not pretend that he didn't even research anything about one of the best players in NPB back in the day, he even knew his weight!
