It was the first day of Volleyball Practise. Tsutomu Goshiki was excited for the new year. His best friend Valerie was joining as the manager! He couldn't wait to see her. Normally her and her best female friend, Seri Sawamura would walk with him but, they done it different this year. Although, he and the girls where in different schools; they would walk together. Shiratorizawa Academy is half-way from Seri and Valerie's school that year but now... The girls' are first years and Goshiki is a second year. Seri was going to be a Manager but she decided to not to. So it's just Manager Valerie and Player Tsutomu.
"Goshiki, why you so happy?" Koganegawa asked, he was Tsutomu's friend he met last year.
"My best friend from childhood is coming this year! I can't wait!" Kogane laughed it off, and walked to the door. "Don't be long, the new Manager is coming."
Practise ended; It was the best for Tsutomu. A whole practise with Valerie in the room even if she was in charge of him. You could tell from a mile away, he had feelings for her. Which he did- but, with someone who friendzones him everyday? Theres no way Valerie like him. He was so damn sure she liked one of the popular's, everyone did. He was also known as Adrien Agreste 2.0 because he didn't know if she liked him like that or if she didn't. After when practise was done, he was last to change.
"Tsu-Chan, are you still in there?" Valerie asked, knocking. "Mhm!" What was that reply!? "mHm!?" The hell!? Tsutomu thought to himself; "Uh, yes Valerie!" "Alright, am I able to come in? I wanna tell you something important..." Tsutomu quickly finished changing and opened the Clubroom door, where he was pushed back inside. "Val-" "Sorry!" Valerie bowed in apology to him. "It's alright, what did you want to tell me?"
"Uhm, Tsu-Chan..."
"Yeah, Val-Chan?"
"I love you..."
