JJ was giving the police officer a description of the truck and was trying to remember anything else about the man in the truck when she her the home phone rang, she quickly ran to the phone and listened to the woman on the other end.
Ma'am your mom has been in an accident and she needed to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Is my mom okay she asked? The lady would not give a direct answer. She hung the phone and ran to the door and told the cop what was going and as she was locking up. He drove her to the hospital and waited with her until the doctor was free to talk to her.
It stemmed like hours had passed and she was starting to worry even more when the doctor came in, hi I am Dr draden and I just want to say I am sorry but your mom came in with very serious injuries and we were unable to save her life. I hit my knees I could not breath or think. It was like my life just stopped. The officer that was with me tried his best to comfort me. All I could think was what or who would hurt my mom? I looked at the dr , w-what happened? The Dr just stared at her for a long moment. I am not sure that would be a good ide.....I WANT TO KNOW!!!! JJ SCREAMED. Your mom was beaten to death by three men. We are still trying to get more details on what had happened. Who would wanna hurt my mom? She was nice to everyone. I just sat there on my knees sobbing and questioning why this could happen to me. I just did not understand why my life was falling apart so quickly. What am I gonna do? I thought out loud. JJ my name is Sgt Michael Weston I am one of the officers on your mothers case. Is there someone you would like me to call? N-no it was just me and my mom. I have no one else. Sgt Weston asked where her father was. All I know is that he lives in Arkansas. I don't know where exactly. I don't know how to contact him. I just wanna go home. Michael could not help but feel sorry for the girl, do u know your dads name? I think its JD white I am not sure. My mom left when I was two and she never really talked about him over the years. The ride home was quiet . when he pulled into her drive way and she turned to Sgt weston., thanks for the ride home and for sitting with me at the hospital. I'm gonna get a shower and go to bed. He looked confused, I'm not going anywhere until we find your family. So don't even try to argue. You are my only concern until then.
She did not have the strength to argue, she just nodded and got out of the car and they walked into the house together.
