Dream's POV
I woke up in my bed. I carefully rubbed my eyes and gazed across my room. My eyes fell upon my calendar. " 12th September 2021 " It was written. I suddenly remembered that today was the day we were getting our soulmates. I couldn't wait to meet my soulmate. But I knew it would probably take years to find them.

I looked at the time. " 06:27 ". In just about half an hour I would be able to comunticate with my soulmate. I sat up and went to my desk. I picked up a black pen and put it in my back pocket to when the time was ready. I opened my bedroom door and went down to the kitchen.

" Good morning sweetheart. " My mom greeted me. " Morning! " I happily answered. I sat down at the dinner table and waited for my breakfast to be served. My mom came  to it holding a plate of pancakes. She put it down on the table together with a smaller plate that was for me.

I thanked her and started to take some of the pancakes onto my plate. She also sat down and ate. I thanked her once again for the food and went upstairs into my bedroom. I picked out an outfit. A pair of blue slightly ripped jeans and a black hoodie with a white smile on it.

I brought it into the bathroom and locked the door. I started to change. I took off my shirt and put on my black hoodie. I changed my pants into the new pair and was about to exit the bathroom when I remembered I had to brush my teeth. I quickly rushed in and took out my toothbrush.

I put in my normal toothpaste and stared to brush my teeth. I looked into the mirror and noticed there was something on my arm. I imediately stopped brushing my teeth and instead tried to see what it was. " Hi. " Was written on my arm.

I took out my sharpie and started to write a response. " Hey. " I wrote. This system was so cool. We all had soulmates and that we could message them whenever we wanted. I felt so grateful for that. " What gender are you? " It asked. " Oh I'm male. " I told it.
