chapter 1: Luffy meets Sabo and ace

a year has gone by since Shanks left and ever since then Luffy has been training his abilities, he now has decent control over arnament haki, observation haki, and conquerors haki thanks to the large amounts of huge and dangerous animals, he's also made 4 new moves with the gum gum fruit. gum gum pistol, gum gum bazooka, gum gum Gatling, and gum gum rocket. lastly, he's decided to call his ability snatch since he has discovered that he can  "rob" physical objects and the abilities of anyone, he's also made the shocking discovery that he can heal incredibly fast since the injuries literally steam off of him. now his grandfather, vice-admiral of the marines Garp "the hero" is taking him up the mountain by the back of his shirt

Luffy: hey grandpa, where are we going?

Garp: Your new home, you're going to live with mountain bandits from now on

Luffy: What?! but I don't like mountain bandits!

Garp: Well from now one you are going to live with them, I have to train you to be a strong marine!

Luffy: I already told you I don't want to be a marine! I want to be a pirate!

Garp: That red haired pirate has really affected you badly! You will become a marine!

screamed Garp punching Luffy with his "Fist of Love" Luffy moved to the side dodging it

Luffy: *angry tone* Don't talk bad about Shanks!

Garp was honestly surprised that he dodged his punch but was slightly proud as well.

Garp: how did you do that?

Luffy: oh yeah I forgot to tell you, I have something called Haki according to shanks, so I can cover my arms and legs with this black stuff, dodge attacks, and knock people out by just looking at them!

now Garp was really surprised and couldn't be prouder but he didn't have time to show it since they just arrived at Dadan's headquarters. he let go of Luffy who started to run around and started to knock continuously until the door opened and the one who opened it was a rather tall and overweight middle-aged woman with long, orange, curly hair and a big, masculine face. she was seen smoking a cigarette and wore a white-collar shirt, a pink beaded necklace, checkered trousers held up with a large belt, and heeled boots.

Dadan: Stop it! whoever you are, do you wanna get killed?!

Garp: *glares* it's me!

she immediately stopped yelling and gained a surprised face before screaming and stumbling back

Dadan: G-Garp!

as she said this two more mountain bandits appeared from behind a curtain who was just as shocked as she was. their names were Dogra and Magra

Garp: you're looking good

Dadan: give me a break! please, you gotta have mercy on me! ace is 10 years old now!

Garp: oh yeah, already? how is he? *laughs*

Dogra: it's not funny! we can't handle him anymore! you have to take him!

Magra: putting that aside-

Dogra: don't put that aside!

Dadan had finally had enough of Luffy's running and yelled at him

Dadan: you're annoying, kid!

Garp then pick the boy up

Garp: look after him, too

Dadan: eh?

Garp: hey, Luffy, say hi to them

Luffy: *raises hand* yo!
