Things go a little bit south

"No!!!!! Stop it!!!!! You aren't the same Vic I knew!" A girl screamed. I reacted pulling out my jet black scythe. The vaiphon glowed on it in the dark night. I watched my body change into my true form, a skeleton, dressed in full black, with the church's logo. This so called Vic wasn't so friendly I thought. The man convulsed, bone wings shot out of his back. A KHOR! Here of all places, I can't believe this I thought. The man attacked the girl I blocked the attack, but it still knocked her out. That's good, I thought, she can't remember me. I put my scythe so it would cut off the wings if I pulled it down. "May God be with you" I said as I pulled the scythe down. The man collapsed. I put away my scythe and my body slowly turned back into a human. My bishop outfit came back and I grabbed them both and put them in a room. I was walking down the hallway of the church. The windows broke and military troops came rushing in. I saw the leader of the group. His white hair, his clothes, his eyes, his aura, and most of all his gaze made me realize who he was. I stared at him. He knew what I was, and I knew what he was. His group surrounded me.

"It would be wise if you kept still Mr. Ghost" the pink hair girl threatened.

"Like hell I will." I yelled. I pulled out my scythe. A tingle ran though my body. I love that feeling, I thought. My body was complete transformed. I started to fight, but his group pushed my scythe away from me and held me to the ground. I tried to wiggle away but it was useless. The leader came up to me and said "Any last words, ghost." He lifted my head and I smirked.

"Verloren, Nice to see you this fine night" I smirked again, my face was translucent over my  skeleton face.

"It's a pleasure Relikt" he replied

I felt the necklace and bracelet I was wearing tighten and dig into my skin. It was painful, but it would help save my legend. I sighed. Millia, sorry honey, I don't think your dad will be able to see you again, I thought. I felt myself get weak. All my energy was being drawn to my necklace and bracelet. I started to breathe heavily.

"Oh no you don't." Verloren said.

My soul was almost in the necklace. Just a little more time, I thought. If I get half of my soul in it, then, I can survive and pass my spirit on to my daughter. Verloren walked up to me and told his men to flip me on my back. Huh, never had my soul ripped out before, I thought. I felt half of my soul flow into the necklace. Verloren's hand turned translucent. He reached into my chest and I could feel him tugging at my soul. My human side tried to fight it as hard as it could, but it wasn't meant to be. Verloren pulled out half of my soul and ate it. I looked up at the last thing I would see, Verloren's cold purple eyes beating down on me. I saw my wife and my daughter’s faces flash before my eyes. Then all the other lives of my past self’s flowed before me. I looked up to Verloren and cried out: You won't win, Verloren.  The half shall survive, meet the ghosts three, and destroy you. Pandora's Box shall be awakened. I whispered I love you to my wife and daughter and everything faded to black.

*Millia's P.O.V*

"Nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!" I screamed. I jolted awake. I was sweating and I held my hand up to my face. I was crying? My necklace felt tight. A cold shiver ran through me and I voice spoke in my head, "Stop resisting it, your time will come Millia." I looked to my necklace and it was still poking me in the skin. It hurt sometimes. I would feel power and hear a voice in my head. It always repeated the same line. The pain died down and saw that Nyx was staring at me. "You okay?" She asked.

I got up from our bunk. "Yeah, just a bad dream."

"The normal one I am guessing right?" Nyx asked

"Yeah." I replied looking sad.

I went to the shower room and shower. I dried my hair and put my military uniform on. Nyx's was already on. We walked down to the cafeteria. I still can't believe Iam in military school, I thought. Mikage was right it is hard and challenging. I saw Mikage sitting with Tetio. I smiled. Mikage was my cousin. I was glad he was getting along with people. Nyx and I grabbed out food and heading over to their table.

"What's up coz!?" Migake said has giving me a knuckle to the head.

"Gah Mikage! Nothing much!" I replied

Nyx laughed along with Tetio.

"So exams are today" Nyx said.

"Yeah everything has gone so fast." Migake said.

"I remember when Tetio was made fun of all the time until he got you has a friend, Migake." I stated.

"I am still made fun of!" Tetio said

We replied with we know and we all ate with lots of laughter and jokes. After all it was our last day together, possibly. Mikage told me about his pact with Tetio. I made one with Nyx. The bell rang and we went our separate ways.  I grabbed Nyx's hand and we ran towards our destination. I could shiver ran thought my body while I was holding Nyx's hand. The voice came into my head and repeated the line that it always says.

"Nyx, are you okay? You are really cold?" I asked concerned

"Yeah I am always this cold. That's why I wear gloves all the time." She replied.

"Okay?" I started to pull off her right hand glove and she said.

"Nooooooo. Don't do that!" As she took her hand back."Okay fine" I said back. I caught a glimpse of something purple on her hand, but I didn't see all of it. Come to think of it. She has never taken that glove off. My mind started to wonder as we headed towards the exam room.

Nyx and I were in the A team of the girls side. We walked into the exam room and a giant dragon came bursting out of the wall. Most of the girl students ran away or even died. Nyx and I attacked together. We hit him to left and right. The dragon took me up and held me by my necklace. The charm pulled at my skin as it was still stuck in my skin from this morning. Nyx hit him really hard and we both flew backwards, bouncing off the wall. We put him in a death grip and the teacher ended up killing it because we refused.

We were told that we passed and we left to go back to our bunks. Nyx and I talked about the past, the future, and our friendship. We had been friends for a while now and just when we were getting to be extremely good friends, not like we already are, the military is going to spilt us up. We both slept soundly, until Mikage shoved open the door and told us Tetio had been arrested for assaulting Chief Ayanami.  Mikage, Nyx, and I made a plan to escape. We waited for Mikage and Tetio. Tetio jumped onto the hawlkzile, but Mikage sayed behind. Tetio was in control and all I could do was scream "MIKGAKE!!!!!!!" with an out stretched hand as we flew off. Ayanami injured Tetio, but we kept flying and soon it was day time and we all collapsed on the night wing, but we didn't think about the fact that we would be falling.
