"And that should do it!" Gabby exclaimed as she fixed up Blaze. "But I'm really questioning why we keep finding random stuff every time I fix you, Blaze,"
"I don't know, it just happens!" Blaze laughed, as did everyone else.
"Well, at least he's all fixed now," AJ smiled. "Thanks, Gabby,"
"No problem!"
"Uh... hey, guys..." Crusher said as he and Pickle entered the garage.
"Hey, Crusher! Hey, Pickle!" Gabby greeted. "Do you two need fixing?"
"No... we need your help," Crusher said before showing them the staff. "This wizard's staff is my father's, and the note that came with it told me to listen and find him. I was... hoping you could help me...?"
"Your father?" Darington blinked in surprise.
"Your father's a wizard?!" Stripes's jaws dropped.
"That's what Grammy said," Crusher nodded. "She said he was nothing like Mother, so don't worry."
"How can we help?" Watts asked.
"Maybe we can recognize him in one of your books, Stripes?" Crusher wondered. "He's a spirit wizard, and his name is Jokul. Maybe we can find out where he primarily lives,"
"Good thinking!"
Stripes took out his book of magical beings and laid it on the nearby table. The group gathered around it as he flipped through the pages.
"Do you see anything?" AJ asked.
"And what is a spirit wizard, anyway?" Blaze questioned.
"A spirit wizard is a spirit with powerful magical abilities," Stripes explained. "Aha! Here it is!"
"What's it say?" Gabby asked.
"It says that… Jokul is a spirit of ice and snow," Stripes read. "He was the greatest and most powerful spirit wizard of all the Snow Queen's court,"
"Wow... he sounds great! Does it say where he lived?"
"Hmm…" Stripes flipped the next page. "It says here that Jokul residences anywhere that's full of snow, but he has two primary places; the Snow Queen's Kingdom and his secret hideout,"
"Well, the kingdom was restored when Crusher broke her icy spells," Blaze reasoned. "So let's head over to check! Maybe he was hiding out there!"
"Crusher, do you think your icy magic can take us there?" Gabby asked.
"I think so,"
Crusher nodded and closed his eyes, flicking his tires around. His magic surrounded the group and teleported them out of the garage and onto the entrance, leading to the village that lead to the palace.
"Okay... if I were an icy spirit wizard... where would I be hiding?"
They all looked around as they walked into the village. Smiling faces greeted them up until they reached the palace. The ice guards greeted them with a bow.
"Your highness,"
"Guards," Crusher gave a nod of recognition.
They continued into the castle, glancing around to find any clue about Jokul. Crusher was leading the group, but as he did, a whisper caught his attention, causing him to stop.
"Ina-yuki…"
"Crusher? What is it?" Blaze questioned.
"I… I thought I heard it again…" Crusher hissed.
"Maybe you did," Stripes said. "Can you tell where it's coming from?"
"Hmm…"
Crusher closed his eyes, letting his magic lead him through the halls. They soon made it to a wall at the end of the hall.
"It's coming from... here!"
"But... hall end here," Zeg reasoned.
"Wait... if it leads to the wall, there must be a hidden passage way!" AJ gasped in realization.
Crusher drove closer and grasped it with his tire. Suddenly, a snowflake glowed white before the wall opened up.
"Follow me!"
They drove into the secret passage way. The passage was dark, with only glowing ice lights lighting up their path as they went down and down. They soon made it to a room full of books and bookshelves, along with a desk with quills and books on it.
"You think this is the hideout Stripes mentioned?" Starla asked.
"Maybe," Darington shrugged.
"Woah!" Stripes dashed to the desk. "These are a lot of scrolls!" He picked one up and opened it. "And woah, they've all been written by Jokul himself!"
"What's on them, Stripes?"Blaze asked.
"Hmm… letters," Stripes replied. "To the queen, more specifically. They're more like excuse letters,"
"Hmm... must've wanted to keep as far from Mother as possible. But... why did he disappear?" Crusher wondered.
"Ooh, lookie here! An envelope!" Pickle picked an envelope up from the floor. "It says… 'To my Ina-Yuki.'!"
"What does it say?"
"Here! You read!" Pickle shoved the envelope to the dark blue truck. "It's for you, after all!"
"Oh... right."
Crusher opened the letter and took out the paper.
["To my Ina-yuki,
I hope you read this letter when your mother is no longer there. I hope she never raised you.
From afar, your mother is beautiful, but she was also vain. I hope Diana was able to race you better than your mother could.
As for me, I apologize if I can never be there for you. I needed to find a way to get rid of your mother's ruling.
Find me, my son. In a place that is cold but never a danger to the birds that play in the snow.
Love, your father, Jokul."]
"A place that is cold, but never a danger to birds that play in the snow?" Blaze questioned. "What would that mean, Stripes?"
"Huh, I don't know," Stripes scratched his head. "Well, there are two of the coldest places in the world; the Arctic and the Antarctic,"
"Penguins!" Pickle realized. "Penguins live in the Antarctic, and they love the snow! Let's go there!"
"To the Antarctic!"

Golden eyes flashed in the darkness as he stared at the crystal ball in his hands.
"Hmm… so the Snow Queen's child tries to find his father…?"
He smirked, eyes flashing more golden as he stood up. His dark hair and dark spirit skin stood out in his hideout as he held out his scythe.
"Well... he'll never succeed on my watch."
