We met a lady names Kokoro at a train station, she handed us a map that lead us to the next island, Water 7, "Uh, Ussop, what are you doing?" I look at him, he was hugging the mast and rubbing his cheek on the tin plates, "These tin plates might not look like much to you but I have a lot of fond memories with them." He frowns and kisses it, "I gotta say I'm proud of Merry's battle scars but if we don't get her patched up soon we're good as dead out here. The floorboards squeak and the mast shakes during storms." Sanji presses on a warped board, "Guys with this good weather I'd say we'd get to Water 7 even faster than I thought. Now it's time to give you guys your allowance!" Nami says, "Ooh! Ooh! Me first!" Chopper jumps up, she rations it out, "And that'll be three hundred per cent interest." She sticks her tongue out and everyone falls on the floor, "Nat, here's yours!" She was about to hand me some berries when I take a step back and shake my head, "Why not?" She asks, "I've already got enough to cover for myself. It'll be fine." I smile, "What? But you don't have any gold or anything on you." She looks at me and scans me up and down, "Maybe so but I have this." I pull out a small card, "What's that?" Everyone leans closer, "When Zor and I left the village, I remembered I had a small pack under my bed for as long as I could remember, it was from my mum, it had some supplies and this small card. Whenever I need money I just bring it to any bank on any island or town then I get however much money I want. I don't even know how much is on this card thing." I say, "WHAAAAT?!" Everyone screams, Nami had berries in her eyes and tried to snatch it, "You know, for as long as I could remember you'd have enough money to sustain you even though you were a kid and didn't have frequent patients." Zoro looks at me, "Yeah my guess is that mum basically had my whole life mapped for me when she left and once dad died it was tough sure but without her help, I'd be good as dead." I nod, escaping Nami's grabby hands.
We made it into the port but all the people in town seemed so friendly and welcoming, we docked the ship and Zor was just pulling the ropes to bring the sails up when the mast broke, we all screamed and he grabbed it, holding it in place, "What did you do you moss head bastard!" Sanji shouts, "I WAS JUST PULLING THE ROPES LIKE I NORMALLY DO!" He yells, "STOP TALKING AND KEEP IT UP!" Ussop screams. Nami, Luffy and Ussop carried the gold into town to trade it for berries while the rest of us figure out what to do with the ship, "Looks like my chance to go with them's gone now." Chopper pouts, "We can go together later if you want." I pat his head, "Really? Can we go to a bookstore!" He looks, "Thought you'd never ask." I smile and nod.
"It says we're in the backstreet shopping district." I read a map, "It seems awfully crowded for a backstreet if you ask me." Chopper looks up at me in his deer form, "Kinda neat that there are places to walk around though." He says, "Yeah, they probably put a lot of thought and planning into this town's design." I look at the perfectly engineered map, "Yeah." Chopper nods, we were walking and there were men everywhere with heart eyes radiating towards us, "Aren't you a beauty!" "Wow! What a beautiful woman!" They clasp their hands, "Geez, this place is full of Sanji's." Chopper looks at them and he flinches when he was a woman wearing a scary mask, "You'll look after me won't you Chopper." I pat his head, "Don't you worry! I'll protect you!" He lifts his front foot up and sparkles, I smile and scratch his chin, "Oh stop it you stupid jerk! That doesn't feel good." He wiggles around and I laugh even more, we saw a man float by on his gondola selling masks, "What's he selling? It's scary." Chopper watches, "He's selling masks, I've seen a lot of people around town wearing them, maybe that's where they get them." I also look as he paddles away, "Oh you wear them? I thought they were their faces and I got scared. That's a big relief." Chopper grins and the two of us laugh, "Hey you two." We turn around and saw Robin, "Oh hey Robin, did you leave the ship as well?" I look at her, she nods, "Looks like everyone is getting ready for the costume carnival they hold everyday." She says, "How do you know that?" Chopper asks, "I heard everyone talk about it. Ever since. ayoung age I've learnt to keep a careful watch and listen to everything in my environment." She says, my eyes soften lightly while Chopper sparkles in awe, "Hey Chopper look, our bookstore." I point, "Oh wow!" He pulls my arm after him into the store, "Come on Robin!" I smile as he pulls me in but at that moment I saw her eyes widen and she froze as someone in a mask walked past her.
We bought three new books and step out, "Hey where did Robin go?" I look around, Chopper sniffs the air, "I can't smell her but..." He kept following his nose, "This smell." He turns the corner and we saw Sanji sitting on the ground, "Sanji?" I look at him, "Oh my sweet darling! There you are!" He tries to jump on me and give me a kiss but I shoot my leg out and he crashes into it, falling on the ground with hearts flying off him.
We were on the bull ship and Sanji seemed bothered, "What's wrong?" I ask, "I feel uneasy, after what Aokiji said about Robin. I'm sure she'll come back sooner or later." He says, we furrow our brows, we met a Marines Admiral, he had the power to freeze entire oceans. He tried to kill Robin and Luffy but we managed to get away but not without injuries, they were frozen from the inside out and Chopper and myself worked day in and night out warming them back up.
Sanji, Chopper and I made it back to the Merry and Zoro filled us in with the terrible news. One of the shipwrights came and inspected the Merry, she couldn't sail anymore, it was a miracle that she even managed to make it to Water 7. Her keel had been severely damaged, to the point of no return, "It can't be fixed..." Chopper asks, "This ship..." Sanji looks down at her, "Even if we have money? Then what's going to happen to the Merry?" I ask, "Beats me, honestly, it's up to Luffy and the others react to hearing the assessment. Either way, I'm sure they'll get it figured out at the shipyard. "It just seems too extreme, like look at her, same old Merry. We've travelled here all the way from the East Blue look at her, why now?" Sanji shouts, "You just answered your own question, human beings become stronger hardship over hardship but ships are different their wounds just pile up." He says, "It's so hard to accept and what's Ussop gonna say?" I sit down next to him, "I don't wanna! I don't wanna leave the Merry!" Chopper whines, "I know, we all don't but her wounds are too deep. There's nothing we can do." Zoro says, "Hey everyone!" We all run to the edge and saw Nami walking by herself.
She filled us in saying that Ussop had been beaten to a pulp by the 'Franky Family' and was in desperate need for medical treatment as well as having two hundred million stolen from us, "I need you boys to find Luffy again and storm the Franky House. I'll prepare some medicine for Ussop when he gets back." I order, they all nod and jump off the boat. "What did he look like?" I begin mulling some fresh medicine, "He looked as if he had mass amounts of internal bleeding and some terrible bruising and surface cuts." She says, I nod and add more of certain herbs to match the description.
