Chapter 9

3rd POV

Once Elijah was done talking, the witches came back.

"I'm glad you feel that way." Sophie has said, walking up to him.

"Because we need your help."

Elijah turned around to face Sophie and the witches. "What, precisely, is it that you want and what does it have to do with this young woman??"

"We want to run Marcel and his vampires out of town. Klaus is the key. Everything Marcel knows about being a vampire, he learned from Klaus. Marcel trusts him, looks up to him. He won't see the betrayal coming."

"Yes, well, as I'm sure you're aware, our brother Niklaus doesn't like to being told what to do." Elijah said looking Sophie in the eyes.

"It's why I brought you here."

Maux and Helvede walked up to Elijah. Maux leaned onto Helvede while closing his eyes, breaking the spell without nobody noticing aside from his mate Helvede.

"Marcel drove the werewolves out of town. Decades ago. Do you really think he's going to welcome a hybrid baby to the neighborhood?"

That made Hayley to look down slightly.

Stiles had come back when he heard about the baby. *He's going to learn now because nobody is taking my baby. I'll kill anybody who does.*

Stiles thought while scoffing.

"Convince Klaus to help us and no one has to know about the newest members of the Original Family."

"That sounds remarkably like blackmail." When Elijah said that he had his family by his side in a millisecond with their eyes glowing different colors.

Sophie gulped before continuing. "Like I said, I'm desperate."

"Well then, I have my work cut out for me, don't I?"

All Isaac, Scott, Mørke, Stiles, and Maux did was groan.

"This little baby hybrid inside of her is not even powerful." Maux mumbled but everyone heard him making the witches turn their heads fast to him.

All Jordan do was wrap his arm around Mørke's waist and glared at them with his red eyes.

"Evening, Elijah, Kol." Klaus turned around to see everyone there.

Once his eyes landed on Stiles all Stiles did was sigh before turning his head to the left.

"Niklaus." Both Kol and Elijah said at the same time.

"What an entirely unwelcome surprise."

"And what an entirely unsurprising welcome." Kol said smirking.

Elijah sighed. "Come with me."

"I'm not going anywhere until I find out who's conspiring against me."

"I believe I just found that out for you."

And with that Klaus looked at Elijah directly in his eyes.
